We came to Santa Monica Pier to meet my niece and her boyfriend from Sacramento. After walking on the pier and being in the water we needed to eat. My niece's boyfriend chose this place. Three of us ordered the fish and chips. We thought the fish and chips were good. My son ordered a burger and he loved it. It's very hard to please him because he's super picky. So that's a good thing. Here's what I don't understand. My niece ordered salmon that came with cilantro rice and green beans. The green beans looked like it was untouched. She hardly ate much salmon but the cilantro rice was eaten up. Maybe the salmon and green beans weren't that good and she didn't care for packing it to go. I understand why she ate up the cilantro rice. I had to agree the cilantro rice was really good because I ordered a side. Overall it was a nice experience. I have an autistic son so there was a speed bump with behaviors. The staff were really good about it when out of no where we had to switch table to one with a booth seat. I was reading the reviews after I ate here and I didn't know they have rooftop dining. That would have been nice.

Took my mom here for lunch and let me say everything was amazing. The server, Maria and manager Artie were very attentive and friendly. I ordered the blackened Mahi sandwich and salmon--we were extremely satisfied with our flavorful choices. We will be back VERY soon!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Treated us amazing. Food was fire. Would absolutely come back. Get the chicken wings and the seafood pasta. View on the patio is the best on the pier.

I wanted to give this restaurant a "fair" review because the food was surprisingly decent, atmosphere is great and the service was good prior to an incident that occurred. To be fair, I am assuming that there were a few customers that tried "burning" this restaurant in the past and since it's been a while since we have been to SM, the treatment we received may have been due to dishonest customers.....we had ordered 4 appetizers that included an order of "Calamari" that never came out.....we brought it to the servers attention which prompted him to check the order list and consult with his manager.....the manager brought out an "empty plate" claiming that the server picked the plate up from the table, empty with just crumbs left behind.....my wife, sister and I made it clear that we did not receive or eat the appetizer....the manager and server insisted but instead of arguing my wife frustratingly said that "It's ok, we will pay for something that we were not served!" We are not going to argue about a $10 Calamari.....I wanted to go as far as telling the manager to check surveillance cameras because he kept on accusing us of eating the appetizer but my wife said it is not worth the headache.....we continued to be respectful especially to our server who was very nice and polite but for the other server and manager to go out of their way to fight for a "$10 appetizer", it is something that I have never experienced before.....at the end of the day, asides from being accused of being "appetizer thieves", it was a semi pleasant experience but this rating could have easily been 4 stars if it weren't for that incident.....there's no 2.5 stars so had to adjust the rating to a 2.....keep eating and enjoy ya'll

I went to Los Angeles for my birthday and I had a great time at this restaurant. I was looking for a rooftop by the beach with great service and delicious cocktails. I'm glad that I found everything there. Maria was my server and she provided one of the best service that I've had so far. She is just amazing! She recommended everything that I ordered there. I was with my boyfriend and we started with cocktails. The view from the rooftop is incredible. If you are a traveler that enjoy to take time at beautiful places like me, this is your place. I was having an amazing time at that rooftop. For cocktails, we had and I highly recommend their three rum colada, high tide tiki, and strawberry margarita. Three rum colada is the best. It is served in a freshly-cut pineapple. So beautiful and tasteful. For appetizers, we tried their coconut shrimp and crab cakes. Both were pretty good, but my fav was the coconut shrimp. For their seafood menu, we had salmon and fish tacos. I am a seafood lover and I always order salmon when I'm by the beach. But, their fish tacos was much better. You have to try it as well. Fresh and super delicious. We finished with a shot of Don Julio and a slice of chocolate cake. That's the best way to end a meal :) I want to come back as soon as possible. I love Santa Monica and I wish I could be there right now.

Jose the Manager and Alex the waiter met every need of a large group gathering of family members from out of town meeting to lay a dear relative to rest. The food was served hot, as ordered and in a timely manner. The atmosphere was upbeat , light , festive and welcoming! Can not say enough positive things about this Santa Monica eatery
Ok when I walked in I was going to give the place a bad review because there were flies in the middle of the restaurant, I'm not sure if they can do anything about it. However, the quick service and the good food changed my mind. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer it was really good. My hubby got the south burger and it was juicy and yummy. Alfredo pasta and margarita pizza were really good. I got to try their fish tacos and I loooved them. This was overall a good experience and a convenient location on the pier after riding all the rides and not wanting to go too far to eat with the kids.

This was my first time in LA, and I had the nicest time at this rooftop bar! First and foremost, my server was fantastic; his name is Michael, and you should request him! He was really nice and provided me some great drink suggestions as well as service! Excited to bring my friends here one day
