Please, please reopen somewhere soon! I must have more of those delicious burgers. They can't be beat! Boo to the landlord that let you slip away.

A Santa Monica gem. Truly the best burger I've ever had. The fries and elote are also delicious. I've never been disappointed in all the times I've come here. The service, vibe, just everything is/was amazing. Shaka, you are missed dearly by this community! We hope you come back. I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say we will rally behind you and support your small business!

Excellent value. Tasty burgers and friendly service. A neighborhood gem. Hope they will be able to stay in Sunset Park.

Sorry to see Shaka Shack has closed. I heard the building owner raised their rent. We enjoyed their food and ambiance for years. Santa Monica is losing its charm to high end real estate offices and Live Work spaces. It's starting to look like an expensive Anytown USA!

Truly one of the best hamburger's I've had. The Kobe Kahuna is so tasty and while a tad pricey definitely worth it!

Had the Kobe burger with bacon and Swiss cheese along with a side of onion rings and let me Telya it was amazing. It is pricey cost around $24 with burger side and a drink. Not something you could have every day but when you're in the mood for an amazing burger this can't beat it!

Best burger in LA! Especially since Umami sold out. Burger tastes as good as the first time every time! Recommend getting the Kauaiian burger and swapping the bbq mayo for teriyaki.

Food was great! I would recommend it because of the freshness of the food. The only thing I wish they did was refills on the drinks

One of the greatest burgers I ever ate. Recommend the Kobe Hawaiian.

I was leaving Venice beach and yearning for a burger but didn't want to wait 40+mins for In n Out. Shaka shack was nearby so I decided to give it a go. The place looks closed due to construction but it is open with a small lot for parking on the side. Once you step in it's as if you have entered a small local burger shack in Waikiki. Very colorful decor and positive quotes on the wall. I was immediately greeted by an extremely friendly cashier. I ordered the Lava Bean Burger and made it a combo for $4.99. The combo is regular fries and a canned drink. My first bite I was unimpressed. But that's because the patty is relatively soft and slid out. This is NOT a burger for eating and driving! Once I repositioned everything YUMM!! This patty has flavor and they do not skimp you on the avocado. Very filling burger, the fries are fresh but needed salt. Aloha:)

Was on my way home from Santa Monica and really wanted to try somewhere new, so I pulled out my trusty Yelp app and here we are! A fairly rustic little setting, but charming in it's own right. I asked the young man what he suggested and he said the Shaka Royale and it was excellent. The burger was fresh and very juicy... a bit messy as it and the fixins slid around inside the bun. But hey, that's what it's all about! I got a side of fries (because of course I did) and they were very good. I love little local places and I'll definitely be backa to Shaka Shack!
