I am Polish and proudly introduced our food to a large party of my American friends and every one of them loved everything about it. The food authentic, the service warm and caring, the decor keeps the beauty of the home with personal touches like Polish graphic arts and historical photos. And the wonderful servers even sang Sto Lat to me. Thank you for being there all these decades!

It is pricey, but the food is good. I like that the portions aren't as small as I've read in reviews. They are big enough so I was able to eat pierogi and soup and enjoy a main course after a pause, but a dessert would not be possible. It is so nice that the food is tasty and not overly salty as it often happens. (Though, I specifically limit my salt consumption, so I may be rather sensitive to salt) All meals were deliciously tender and well balanced in terms of spices and seasonings. Nothing was greasy or extremely spicy. Very healthy and enjoyable food, though not vegan.

With Santa Monica filled with corporate chain restaurants, Solidarity stands out as a unique and bright spot. I met friends there for happy hour and the menu and prices did not disappoint. We had the sausage, pierogi sampler plate and the grilled cheese sandwich and everything was delicious. Our server was attentive and accommodating. This place is a must when visiting Santa Monica.

I am appalled. This restaurant is a perfect example of what a polish restaurant would be if it were run by Americans.. To start the chicken noodle soup had little to do with what “rosół” in any actual polish restaurant would be. The color was orange and it smells of paprika?? What? On top of that there was little meatballs swimming in a cup full of noodles - more noodles than there was soup. If you’re an actual polish person hoping to taste some home-cooking, then keep looking. We ordered other dishes too. Pierogis were flat & tasteless. More similar to white toast bread in flavor than actual pierogi. Others were somewhat edible (don’t get me wrong - even the soup wasn’t terrible it just tasted like one of those chinsese vifon noodle soups from a packet) .. but none of it had much to do with polish cusine. Surówka (apple, sauerkraut & carrot) was simply inedible. Didn’t think it could go so wrong. It looked ‘normal’ but it had something bitter in it. Like anise? I would suggest looking to hire an actual polish cook if you’re gonna misrepresent yourself as a “polish eatery” - not. Any bar mleczny in Warsaw will beat any dish in this menu here. Also - kielbasa is not as popular in polish cusine as this menu makes it sound. Polish cusine is wonderful. Wish it were better represented here. Never thought I’d say this but I wish we could send Magda Gessler here! No thank you.

If you're looking for Polish food in the area, this is your go to. Definitely not authentic polish cuisine like you'd get u babci w domu, and they could add a few things to the menu such as buraczki and surówka kiszona, but nonetheless, it was tasty. Nice atmosphere and the waitress was very friendly. The presentation of the desert was beautiful.

We went for an Easter dinner reservation at 8 am, which was set right away. We ordered cocktails, Pierogi samplers, and potato pancakes. The waiter took our main course order, and our drinks came out. Then the appetizers arrived, followed by everything else less than 2 minutes later. I had no idea that everything would come out at once. We had taken one bite of the potato pancakes when my dinner came out. There needed to be room on the table to distinguish what was what. Two minutes later, my husband's dinner came out and was put wherever there was room. It was a mess. The food was cold and uneatable. The waiter said they would give a 25% discount on a $170.00 check; I did not punish the server and left a 27 % tip. My husband has been ill, so it has been a while since we went out. He is from Poland, and he wanted his favorites that his mother used to cook. If they like a timely reservation, they should stop at 7 pm. I tried the food today, and it was bland and leftovers uck. Will we come back and spend $200.00? Only sometime soon. I would go early before the staff is ready to go home, and MAYBE MAYBE you will have a better dining experience.Parking: Very tight

Great Spot! This was the best food that I ate in LA on a recent trip into town. The pierogis and the kielbasa were both fantastic. The patio has a great atmosphere and the staff was really polite. Highly Recommend!

Polish girl checking in! Grew up with Polish food made by my mom and grandmother, and had a craving. SO happy to find this place. The food was incredible and authentic, the service was lovely, and the space is beautiful. Hidden gem in Santa Monica. I'll definitely be going back. Seems like a cool place just to hang out too, love the outdoor patio.Pro tip: If you're ever feeling under the weather, order their pickle soup! I've had it delivered twice while I was sick, and I swear it has cured me both times, lol. Ultimate comfort food. Might be my favorite soup in the world! Also love love love the bigos, and my non-Polish boyfriend loved it too! (His first true Polish food experience!)

Loved the food here. Pirogies are my favorite and they have a variety of them. Parking is tough in that area, only street parking. The parking lot is now a construction site.

I grew up eating perogies, and the once in this restaurant are amazing! Staffed cabbage and strongoff are not bad, and the borscht had for some reason tons of beans (which I personally dont like and unusual for a borscht to have them). Again, the perogies are definitely the hightlight of this place for me

Staff is friendly. I'm not too much into polish food, but it was well-prepared and served. Good ambiance inside and in the back patio.

I've driven by this restaurant many times not knowing what was inside. I was so pleasantly surprised when I finally wandered in. First---the ambience is precious. It has a lovely welcoming vibe---you feel as though you've entered a street cafe in Europe. The food is terrific---even for those of us with food allergies. The outdoor courtyard plays host to Yappy Hour on alternate Thursdays, however dogs are always welcome and treated to a special menu. Many of the staff members have been there for years---they take real pride in providing a great experience. My one warning---do not park in the adjacent lot. That lot is for other businesses and even after hours, those business owners keep watch. Friends returned to their car to find a massive sticker on their windshield covering the driver's view. So use street parking and enjoy a really special dining experience.
