So, yes they're closing, but we wish they weren't. Customer service is great 100%, food 100%! Specifically, Sumaytee was the best and most attentive server. We are definitely going to follow him wherever he goes in his serving career ''cause he's so hospitable. A million thanks! See you next year!

Called to check what the wait time would be like on a Saturday night. Sheyla said it would be best if we just arrive around 9pm. Her answer wasn't specific, so I asked her would I be able to make a reservation which her reply was they don't take reservations. Once my cousin and I arrived they put us down on the waitlist. She said it would be a few minutes. While we waited outside in the cold we witnessed countless people arriving and being seated right away. I started to wonder how is that possible? They don't do reservations, but yet every white person was let in right away. Being hungry and cold is something Sonoma Wine Garden has no control over, however discriminating against a certain group/ethnicity is definitely a serious matter that needs to be adjusted hopefully sooner than later. In the end Sheyla said she had completely forgot about us waiting. Interesting! We were a few feet away patiently waiting on the benches periodically making eye contact every time they let someone else inside.I love everyone. I respect everyone. I really hope this review reaches the right people that run this organization. After they finally let us in. We decided to leave. We work hard for our money and make a decent living without having to discriminate.

The person that represented himself as a "general manager" was a super rude person and harassed me and my family by his behavior and his rude words. I asked for his name and he didn't not reveal his name and disrespected me several times. He has no manners and no customer service. Poor customer service and no respect for customer what's so ever. I would never go back to this terrible and awful place! Such a shame!

We came to this for lunch on Sunday with understanding of COVID-19 rules and regulations. We were greeted by the general manager( a younger gentleman) who started going over rules as he was explaining prison rules in a very harsh and disrespectful tone. They put us at the end of balcony next to a very loud music .After finishing food, our 2 kids joined our table for birthday cake and shortly , the same person showed up with significantly bitter attitude and said: you are disagreeing with law and need yo leave now. I complained about loud music , he said" that is on purpose, people come here to seat by loud music".I asked his name he refused to give it to me and then I asked for his manager, he said " I am the highest authority here and you can't talk to anybody " I'm a business opener myself and never let my staff treat customers with disrespect. This not the way customer service should be.

This review is regarding their customer service as the hostess was so unaccommodating a pleasant experience was out of the question. I put my name on the waitlist (it was busy tonight) and the hostess informed me there would be a 1hr wait. I wait to the side and checked back in after 45 min for an update. She told me that she had already sent a text to be seated just 3 minutes after I checked in (mind you I was waiting about 10 steps from the entrance and she made no effort to inform us). I had somehow missed this text. So I apologized for the inconvenience and she said she could get me the next table in about 15 min. After a few more minutes and seeing guests leave the restaurant I ask for another update. She then told me that I was back at the bottom of the waitlist and might not even be seated because they were going to close in a couple hours. I asked her if she could make any other arrangements since we had been waiting over an hour and longer than the others on the waitlist. She was unhelpful and made no effort to see what else could be done. As someone who works in a restaurant I've rarely seen customer service be handled so poorly. This review might change if I give this place a second shot.

Great ambience, authentic Italian, and great service. We ordered the burrata with truffles and bolognes. Felt the burrata was the highlight. Noodles were delicious. My only complaint was I felt the bolognes ones was a little salty. Would return for a cute date spot.

Came here on a Sunday whim. My partner and i were feeling daring, and opted for their Sunday mimosa brunch. This place was everything i love, wine, a nautical/ winery type of vibe and great music. We asked for mimosas with the juice on the side since we wanted to try the different varieties( peach, elderberry and OJ) . For anyone curious they are a $25 add on to any entree on the menu. Since we had already eaten breakfast i opted for a margarita pizza. The sauce was homemade which excited me! But make sure to eat it within a reasonable amount of time because it gets cold quick. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken sandwich which he said was killer, especially with the mango slaw, fries were nice and crispy. The server was so polite, and so friendly, service was quick and the music was fantastic. Don't get too comfortable though they do have a two hour limit- which is totally understandable! Hope to be back soon!

Showed up close to closing time yet was still treated with the highest level of service - never felt rushed! Sarah was tending to my table, walked me through the menu very well and suggested her top recommendations: kale caesar, caramel salmon, chocolate lava cake (without ice cream as I'm lactose intolerant) and the Beach Bum cocktail (not pictured below). The salad was perfectly dressed, the salmon is probably one of the best I've ever had (rivaling those of some top restaurants I've been to) with a special caramel sauce, the cake was fresh out of the oven with a nice, rich and creamy texture and filling and the cocktail took me back to my favorite memories in Hawaii. Overall, highly recommend this place for quality service, amazing flavors and great ambiance! Job well done, can't wait to come back.

This place. Where do I start....With a mimosa? I have come to this place for brunch more times than I care to mention over the last several years. There are three things that make this place one of the best brunch spots in LA. One the constant pours of mimosas, peach or orange. Two the beautiful views (both scenery and people) while you eat your food. And three the good vibes.Word on the street is that this place will be closing its doors very soon as a result of down business because of the pandemic. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't say thank you for the service, the drinks, the laughs, and all the memories. If there is anyway to keep the doors open at this place please do it because few things top a Saturday brunch on a sunny day with a DJ set and beautiful people on the sun deck at Sonoma Wine Garden!

Never disappoints! Had the brussel sprouts and truffle fries for appetizers, which was delicious. The squid ink pasta was amazing and lava cake was one of the best i’ve had. The view is very nice too!

I came here with friends but would be an amazing place to come with your significant other. The lighting is perfect, food is very good as well. One of my top favorites so far in LA!

Such an amazing date spot in the middle of Santa Monica! I'm so sad this place is closing up in a month, so I'm going to take advantage of their happy hour as much as I can! I would describe this place as upscale casual. It's super cute interior and very nicely made menu. Stuff us awesome and cocktails hitting just right. We ordered oysters which were pretty small but very delicious. We also got 5 pieces charcuterie board which was absolutely great! Love love this place! Visit it before it's gone

I give this place 3 stars based on food and drinks - but 4 for the amazing outdoor dining area and the several heaters they have available to cooler days. The price for the bottomless brunch is fair, but nothing outstanding.
