Mediocre service, extremely rude. The place is very dirty and the food is not good. I suggest you look for another place to have lunch or dinner to avoid disappointment.

This unassuming corner restaurant is our go to for Indian food. It is the most authentic and delicious that you can find in this area. The portions are sizable and the menu is actually affordable (rare for Santa Monica). While most people order takeout, we love to dine in because the music and artwork make you feel like you have been transported to India. The staff is so kind and they always throw in extras. They are quick to offer recommendations if you want to try something new! If you have a craving for butter chicken or real homemade chai then this place is for you. Don’t get roped in to some fancy Americanized Indian restaurant! This hidden gem is waiting for you right here on pico!

I like this place for the food quality and the portions are fair. I have ordered more than once as well and the flavor is consistent. Good Job! Thanks for delivering on time as well!

I hadn't been to Tandoor India in years, I was happy to see they were still around! Then I tasted the Naan, Samosas, Matar Paneer, Bengan Bharta, Butter Chicken ... I'm even happier that it is still DELICIOUS!

This is my favorite Indian spot in Santa Monica. The portions are good, the Butter Chicken (Chicken Mahkani) is delicious, and the owners are always kind and giving. A few times I have placed an order online and forgotten to include rice, and they called and asked if I wanted it to better enjoy my meal. They are thoughtful! The prices are also pretty good in my opinion and my daughter who is a picky eater enjoys their food as well.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options.

The butter chicken and the paneer were sooo good and we thought the food might be better than we had remembered? We definitely didn't order enough naan and I thought it came with rice but does not, so do not forget to order that separately. Nice local Indian food for our neighborhood!

I got lamb tikka masala (spicy), garlic naan, a half order of rice,, an order of samosa, and a mango lassi for takeout. It's enough for two meals. Masala and naan were not bad for a spot near my neighborhood. The lamb was tender. The samosa was okay. The lassi was fine. Service was chill, friendly. I appreciate that it's open til 10. I've got other Indian spots in the city I like way better, but I'd came back here again for a late dinner or night time craving.

They treat couriers very disrespectfully and always keep them waiting.

Tandoor Indian is my favorite Indian food in LA so far. Their food is so flavorful and I love that you can choose a spice level. Blander chicken tikka masala can end up tasting like tomato sauce but the spice level options really takes the flavors to the next level (I always choose spicy). Their servings are big for takeout and the guy that has taken our order over the phone a couple of times has been so nice. We have not eaten in yet, only takeout. Also just a heads up that you don't get a side of rice when you order curry entrees so make sure to get a side of rice! Their garlic naan is also delicious!!

Very disappointing dinner. The butter chicken was the only dish with some flavor but even that was just ok. The paneer saag was pretty bad.. completely bland and flavorless. Same issue with the basmati rice and the breads - absolutely no flavor. The roti was actually stale. I would definitely just go elsewhere for Indian until this place figures out how to get some actual flavor and spice.
