I'm really old.. Iremember when a scoop of ice cream was .15 cents.. Anyways, the only gripe I have is this: Their single scoop is about $2.00.. The second scoop is about 1/3 of that... And the third scoop is more expensive than the second scoop.. WTF !!??
for those who grew up in the suburbs of los angeles, thrifty was an institution b/c they used to have 25 cent scoops of ice cream. my husband was a kid who used to walk home from school, and make long detours going home, just to pick up his scoop of ice cream for a quarter. i imagine he wasn't the only one..... in 2012, the prices are no longer a quarter per scoop, but they're still pretty darn good, compared to all of the other ice cream shoppes i've seen. single scoop = $1.69...read full review

Very good ice cream with some unique flavors, but not the most pronounced flavors I've had. The way to go is definitely a sundae (especially the secret breakfast sundae or the brownie sundae - which has a homemade brownie that is delicious. The staff is very friendly too.
