Tiato Kitchen for me is an wonderful night out! Why you ask? Great food, delicious and creative mixed drinks and a diverse and respectable wine list (love my Chenin Blanc!), and an garden dining experience that is one of the finest on the Westside. For all this and good service, Tiato Kitchen and Garden deserves 5 stars from me. Whether you want a romantic first date, a night out with your gal, guy or besties, a special occasion private dinner or event, Tiato checks all of the boxes. They're open for lunch or nights (plenty of heaters) on Thursday and Friday. We now have dined twice for dinner. Make your reservation today to try their diverse menu and experience a fun night out in the garden!

Very cute garden outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Reasonable food. Dogs allowed. Pantry market inside the restaurant.

The perfect spot for a springtime private event! Big thanks to Stephanie, Sergio, Jimmy and the whole service team at Tiato for a successful and fun mixer + dinner we were able to host here. Working with Stephanie to plan it all was a breeze; and her efficiency, friendliness, and style made our teamwork great. Every single server and the bartenders were awesome and every hors d'oeuvre was AMAZING - most especially the lobster corndog lollipops. What an absolute crowd pleaser. Get them. Aesthetics and outdoor scenery was just perfect, an excellent place to hang out with friends or unwind after a hectic day at work. Catering options also had plentiful choices, including really great vegertarian and gluten free options that people enjoyed. If you can, also request Board to Death Charcuterie because the charcuterie cones were beautiful and a more sanitary way for everyone to enjoy it. Really looking forward to working with this team again and having another function here.

I have to say the broccolini was phenomenal! The head manager there is also incredible he was super helpful very insightful with wonderful recommendations. We came for St. Patrick's Day and tried all kinds of dishes. The sweet-and-sour fries were our personal favorites in addition to the broccoli! The drinks were fantastic as well! The whole environment the vibe I totally wanna host a future event here in this garden!!

Tiato remains one of the worst things about Santa Monica. When your website says you serve breakfast until 11am on weekdays and includes a breakfast burrito, you should do so.

Simply put, beautiful setting but terrible food with no service (literally order from a register and take your number to a table), so keep that in mind if you're expecting a full service restaurant like I did. Had the noodle salad, their version of the classic bun thit nuong, but with chicken and the turmeric golden latte. The dressing was bland and not even the traditional fish sauce and lime mix. Chicken was slightly pink and cold so just not appealing to eat at all. Couldn't even finish the salad for fear of food poisoning. Saw another review with the same complaint. The latte tasted like milk that was a little sweet while the plastic cup it was served in smelled like a dirty towel. Treated a colleague to lunch, so between the two of us with 2 teas and 2 cookies, it costs $63. Definitely not worth it. Probably cheaper to drive a little out of the way to find real Vietnamese food elsewhere.

This is such an underrated gem. By the end I was eating just for fun. The chicken pate is amazing. The shaken beef, tuna tartare, and branzino are all great. Nice ambiance and great service as well.

Ambiance is beautiful. Food is borderline disgusting. This is my second time going. Maybe happy hour is different.

I came with some aesthetically challenged friends and they put us in the “ugly section” so as not to ruin the dinner of other more attractive patrons. Understandable. We enjoyed our food, nonetheless.

I'm a regular here and it's never disappointing. I'm never into posting reviews about places I go to but I think now days with all the negativity spreading around it's necessary to spread positivity. We do not only have to post a review when something bother us but also to uplift. When it comes to the food, the fusion they create with the truffle oil is amazing. The Salmon, Garlic noodles are amazing as well. Those brussels sprouts are great! Such a particular flavor. 5 stars for the food. For the service, The managers Tyler is there on mornings, either at the cafe or at the expo window, he's a kind guy. Sergio is always on the floor, very welcoming and funny. He is always on the go you'll find him at the expo, running food, making coffees or busing tables along the staff. They'll take a couple of mins to great you and welcome you or even take your order. Servers are great as well, Jimmy was my server during Garden Nights last time I went over. He's great. I'm glad Myrna is back at the cafe during lunch! she's lovely. I could go on and on giving you details about this place and their staff. I'm a local and I've been going there for years and will continue going. It's just sad that some people or ex-employees rant about their personal issues with immaturity and lies trying and relay that on the restaurant or staff. Shame on you. The Garden Nights are something else. You have to check out their patio. That tree in the corner, the table next to it it's always my favorite. The owner is always around greeting guests and making sure everything looks great. Thank you. Please go and enjoy the beauty of this place!
