We waited an hour and 22 minutes for two burgers and a short rib dinner, none of which lived up to the hype. For 45 minutes Staff kept saying they would check but would never return to tell us anything. At one point someone said there was a problem with the fries (we watched an employee return with a bag of frozen fries) but once the food was ready the manager said they just got busy and was a little condescending about justifying everything. I've managed restaurants myself, I understand being busy but I also understand the importance of customer service and this experience missed the mark entirely. I so wanted to enjoy this place but between the food quality, the price, and the level of service I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I'm so bummed. I really hoped Santa Paula would have something new to choose from. My family and I went to this restaurant when it first opened. It was ok, but knew that ALL places have kinks when they first open. What I do remember was the amazing Jalapeño Mac n cheese and the cronuts. So we decided to go give it another chance this evening. I was so excited for the Mac n cheese until it came out. It was completely different with absolutely no flavor and huge chunks of garlic I had to chew. The jalapeños had no flavor as well. I understand some people might not want spicy but jalapeño Mac n cheese I would hope would have some kind of spice or flavor. We also ordered the prime rib sandwich, that can't be hard to mess up.... Right?? Wrong! Again no flavor. NONE! two very thin pieces of meat on a huge roll that was very bland and didn't seem like the right type of roll. At least maybe toast the roll? I love prime rib with horseradish but this had a tiny smear of horseradish. We asked a few times for ranch for our fries and never got it. Did get the cronuts and those are still good and probably the only reason I could give a star. Just hard to swallow an $80 bill after food like this.

The food was amazing! Drinks were amazing! Get the duo dip as an appetizer, it’s delicious (honestly could eat all day) then we had the short rib dinner. The meat melted in your mouth it was so soft and the sauce on top was to die for. Mash potatoes were creamy. Absolutely will come here again.

Came her for lunch and a few drinks. We were not impressed by the food. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked. The pizza was ok but we did not finish it. The grilled cheese was really good. I would order that again. The cronuts were amazing. Probably my favorite! The drink was yummy too except they ran out of dry ice and didn't tell us until they brought the drinks. We got the Harvest Fog which for "show" came with dry ice but not today :( Service was great, though they forgot a few things we asked for. Really cool space. Chill spot! I would stop by again but only for drinks not the food.

I found this place on Yelp. I was seated right away and the place was clean and had a great Ambience. The bar tender was doing a great job entertaining his customersMy waitress was kind and helpful. She made a recommendation of a Rib & Cheese sandwich with a soup. The best sandwich I have had in more than 5 years. The meat melted in your mouth and the cheese had an excellent flavor. The food was served in around 10 minutes. The temp of the food was excellent. The pricing of the food and beverages was good. The waitress did an excellent job of taking care of me and helping with recommendations. I hope she gets a raise soon.I plan to come back soon with my family. I highly recommend this place to socialize and eat excellent food.

My husband proved once again that ladders are dangerous things. While waiting in ER for the caring staff at Santa Paula hospital to put a cast on my husband's ankle, I went online and ordered what we had planned to enjoy inside the lovely restaurant. Our order was waiting for me after I left him for the finishing touches at the hospital. The bartender made my favorite pineapple cocktail up fresh after I arrived to pick up the order. My husband made it to the car on crutches and we drove home to enjoy a freshly prepared meal. He enjoyed his Korean chicken wings while I loved my jalapeños mac n cheese. My pineapple cocktail relieved the stress of the previous three hours. We will definitely be back to enjoy a meal at the restaurant soon.

The Santa Paula Craft house has a hip atmosphere and a menu that isn't overwhelming, but offers something for everyone. I tried the Craft Burger and upgraded to Truffle Garlic Fries for $4 more. The meal was underwhelming and while I would consider dining here again I'd skip the truffle fries. They didn't smell or taste of truffle. Since the truffle fries tipped my decision to eat here it was a bit of a disappointment. The place was mostly empty on a Wednesday evening. The staff was aloof and occupied with conversations with each other making service a bit slower than it could have been.

We sat at the bar and it was refreshing talking to locals and the bartenders. The Pizza and appetizers were very tasty. Perfect place for a beer and finger foods. Great Friday/Saturday chill spot. Definitely recommend

We stayed in Santa Paula over the weekend for a birthday gathering. We had a group of about 12 and when we showed up they waited on us rapidly getting a table together. Our drink orders were taken and then our food order. The food was wonderful. We had the veggie pizza. I shared it with my husband and it was perfect. The place was clean even the ladies room. So I do recomment this place.

My wife and I just left, we shared the Caesar Salad and each had entrees. All the food and drinks were great. Our server Sarah was awesome! Loved our time here!

Since moving, we hadn't gone to Santa Paula downtown. Santa Paula Craft House was our first restaurant. We are glad we went. The atmosphere is so fun. I love how you can see the history of the building. The workers are so friendly. Appreciated they knew the menu to recommend items. I got their Mac and cheese. My husband got their burger. Mac and Cheese was alright. It's not something I would get again. I felt like it didn't have flavor. I tried the burger and fries. That was good. It's a nice place and I know my husband and I will go back to keep trying their menu.

Been there twice and they missed the mark on Steaks on both visits. So after adjusting and getting my order I must say the the Kitchen Man knows what he's is doing!! A RARE find in ANY restaurant. With only having only having "chain store" restaurants that are the convenient place to go anymore the independent places and anticipation of Exciting taste and service or is it QUALITY is not noticed in the food service anymore.

Great food, cocktails, and service! Our new favorite spot in town. Check it out if you haven't been!
