Ordered on the app. 2 sourdough longs, turkey and cranberry with salad and tuna melt with chips. This place is so consistent. Food is great, bread so fresh, friendly and accommodating staff. Also, if you sign up for the rewards program you can get a free sourdough long loaf. What's not to love??

We came here today for the first time. We waited outside near the door until they opened at 10am. At the register as I started to order, the young woman in a black shirt said: " We open at 10". I looked at her puzzled as I knew they opened at 10 and it was 10:05 when I was at the register. I said that I'm aware they open at 10 but that we wanted to be first in because we wanted to get a table away from other people, still nervous about eating in.(we are older and my friend has COPD, so we have to be careful). She continued to say that I should not have been in front of the door and should have waited to the side so that they can open the door. I started getting befuddled as it felt she was berating me like a child - I'm 64 years old. I said that I did step aside as soon as they opened the doors. She for some reason wanted to continue educating me and said that they cannot open the doors if I'm standing there. By now I'm getting upset and asked if we can please drop this so that I can continue to order I asked for her name, but she declined to tell me do I asked for the manager She tried to get her word in before I did, and the manager was friendly, and said he would talk to her. Later I saw the 2 laughing and joking, but whatever. When the manager brought the food, I again told him that cashiers conduct was rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and condescending and that it left us sitting there in disbelief. He said that other people had been knocking on the door for the last half hour before opening so the cashier of was just annoyed. That had nothing to do with me, because those people were at the door before I even got there, and I never knocked since I knew they did not open till 10, so I'm not sure why he used that excuse for her behavior. We ended up boxing up our food and left. Never again! That is not how you allow your employees to act and treat customers. It was the attitude and her refusal to drop the subject after she already berated me, is the part that got me the most. Unprofessional disrespectful and untrained staff. In all of my many years of restaurant eating, I have never seen and experienced such unbelievably poor treatment ever. I don't like giving bad reviews, but this place deserves an honorable mention. The food we took home was good, to be fair.

Met for a women's group lunch and it didn't disappoint. Food is solid for what it is - simply prepared with a limited menu. Very friendly staff, clean restaurant and reasonable prices. I'll return !

Boudin SF is a go-to spot for delicious fresh bread and so much more! Whether you're craving a hearty sandwich, a savory soup, or a flavorful salad, this place has it all. The highlight, of course, is their famous sourdough bread, baked to perfection and served with every meal. The menu offers a great variety of options for every taste, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices. The ambiance is casual and inviting, perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. The staff is friendly. Don't forget to try their clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl - it's a must-try!

Boudin is a wonderful place to get sandwiches and soups but they also have a pretty full menu ranging from salads to burgers pizzas and more. The food is absolutely delicious, five stars for the food. The only thing that you would want to keep in mind when going to this location is the cleanliness. The bathrooms are disgusting and I would imagine that the kitchen probably has some cleanliness issues. The seating area is also pretty well slimed. It feels like a Denny's in cleanliness but a finer restaurant in food quality.

I stopped by here to grab some sandwiches, bread, and cinnamon rolls. Since there was a line, we ordered at the self order kiosk. After about 10 minutes my name was called and I was handed a bag. It was obvious the loafs of bread were missing so I flagged down an employee and told him my order was incomplete. He asked if I ordered from the kiosk and then mentioned the kitchen doesn't see the loafs. I handed him my detailed receipt of every item ordered. They were out of one of the loafs so I had to make a substitution since I already paid. Assuming the order was now complete, I went to our hotel room and unpacked the order. My 2 orders of cinnamon rolls were missing. I had to drive back to the restaurant. I grabbed the same guy and told him he didn't give me my complete order. Of course, they were out of cinnamon rolls. Not only did I have to drive back, they didn't have what I drove back for. He tried to make up an excuse that it's not his fault since I ordered from the kiosk. Great. Blame the customer! He said they would refund me and left. I had to ask another employee what was going on since the person helping me disappeared. Turns out he had to get a manager to refund, this should have been communicated better. The manager came over and refunded my money. She didn't apologize or even make mention of the problem. Since I wasn't happy, I mentioned the kiosk ordering system has issues. She said that people complain all the time their orders are incomplete when they order from the kiosk. WOW, can't believe she admitted the management is inefficient, lazy, or both. How can a restaurant know that they have problems that are simple to fix and not fix them? I asked her why they don't just turn off the kiosk. If they can't fix the problem, this seems to be the most logical solution. Instead, they'd rather blame the customers and give them incomplete orders. I was never offered an apology or any acknowledgment that I had to go out of my way to get this fixed. I'll never step in this place again. Reply to Jacqueline: wow. Did you copy and paste this generic reply? Don't wish it was different. Take action and MAKE it different. I did speak to management and there was very little concern nor did they express an interest to fix the problem. Sorry mean nothing unless the problem is addressed and fixed. Is your plan to keep apologizing for the same mistake over and over again? Sounds like poor management. Owners or district managers need to step in to demand better from their managers.

Really, really good food! And you don't have to drive all the way to the City! Great pizza, and patty melt.
