We had an excellent time at this spot. We loved the extraordinary environment and the menu. The staff are very friendly. I’m happy we ultimately decided to visit this place.

Bruno's lunch specials are amazing. Great price, just the right amount of quality food.

EAT HERE. This place is awesome. An unassuming place sitting down the street from other places and every bit as good in many ways. Bruno's is found in an old home and has a patio for outdoor eating (On a non-rainy day). The inside is done right. Cozy, classy and not crowded. As far as I am concerned they have the perfect amount of tables so people are not crammed together. The staff are friendly and responsive. They answer questions the right way and inspired me to come back THE NEXT MORNING. Seriously, dinner was so good we brought back a couple of friends the next morning for breakfast. Dinner was this elevated meatloaf with veggies and mashed potatoes. Awesome. The Clam Chowder ROCKED. My wife had a prawn dish that was also spectacular. I ordered the tricky (Not really) Manhattan cocktail before dinner and it was done right. Don't laugh, so many places make it wrong. My wife and I came back the the next day (Sunday) for brunch. The staff was there, wide awake and just as happy to serve us as the night before. The owner heard my dog's name is Bruno and came by to say hi. Super nice guy. OMG the biscuits and gravy was amazing. This might be one of my new go-to places. I always worry that I might hose myself with a good review because Bruno's might become super popular...but somehow, I suspect these guys will figure it out. EAT HERE. Drive past one of the other places on the block, you won't be disappointed.

Superb little local bistro. Excellent fried calamari. Crispy and tender. Tasty bread basket, respectable chowder. Going back to try a big plate. Nice staff; started out a little slow.

Bruno's On Fourth is my new favorite restaurant! Its small and quiet enough for conversation. The food is outstanding, I had the steak. And the service was good polite and respectful. Thanks so much for a lovely evening out with my new best friend.

This is a dinner review. Bruno's is really a local place. It's small, intimate and it's not trying to follow any food trends. Described as comfort food, it delivers. It's a dinner menu that might remind you of going to a relative's house for dinner. Service was cheerful but a bit uneven. Standard menu offers salmon, pulled pork, chicken, meat loaf etc. It was restaurant week so I chose the main course of a crab/shrimp cake salad and it was fresh and delicious. Husband unit goes straight to the short rib with a potato croquette (deep fried) and while he liked it, thought they were a bit heavy with the salt shaker. Another guest had the stew on polenta, also well done. The dessert for me was the star of the show--a very fresh mixed berry crumble not too sweet with velvety vanilla ice cream, just like Grandma would make if she were making it. Bruno's has a liquor license which was a pleasant surprise, and the wine pours are reasonably priced and generous. Even though they strive for "comfort" I would like to see them add more vegetables to all their dishes and maybe offer an alternative choice to all those fries. Times are changing....for the good.

We came here for Restaurant Week; even with a reservation there was a bit of a wait (but the place is small, and people linger...I get it). If only the experience made it worthwhile. Nothing was bad, but not amazing either. And for all the talk about generous portions...well, not for the specials! My tiny cup of potato leek soup was very thick even a bit gummy--and very little leek flavor. The beef stew w/ polenta sounded good, and the flavors were balanced but the serving was quite small, just 4 or 5 small pieces of meat, and overall more liquid than chunks of potato and carrots. Nice herbal notes, but again, nothing to write home about. The dessert (warm berry crisp) was delightful--best part of the meal. I felt the service was impersonal at best; though we were served quickly, nobody came by to check how we were doing or if we needed anything (like water or more bread). I get this was restaurant week, and somewhat busy but it would have been easy for someone to just check in once. Anyway, not sure but we may try again on a quieter evening, or maybe for brunch.

Cozy comfort food on fourth street that I'd recommend for a date. Also good for families Tuesday through Thursday kids eat free. Found this spot because of Sonoma county restaurant week. I'd take the wife back the next time we want a tasty bite without the trouble of cooking it up ourselves. Friendly attentive staff. From what I gathered their specials were really popular with the regulars and since it's a smaller restaurant I'd recommend a reservation or take them up on the offer of "heat and eat" to-go meals.

Good food. A bit pricey. Very intimate dining area.

We were looking to find a brunch place that we hadn't been to before. I remember driving by Bruno's on Fourth a number of times, but never had a chance to try it. My husband and I called to reserve a table and were pleased with both the service and food. I ordered the omelette with Italian sausage, mushrooms, & Brie. It was excellent and had great flavor. My husband had the corned beef hash with poached eggs. He was pleased the eggs were cooked properly and the hash homemade. The coffee was great and refills quickly given. We definitely will return and try other brunch items. The restaurant is small, so I recommend reservations.

Came with my family for all of our first time. Service was spot on! Food was delicious. We all really enjoyed ourselves and we will be back. Special should out to our server, Shelby I think was her name! She was wonderful and very patient with our group: thank you for a great first meal at Bruno's!

What a beautiful cozy restaurant. I was there for a business trip and gave it a go. I loved the food. The employees were friendly. The place was clean and well decorated. I will come back again on my next trip. Thank you

Wonderful dinners as always... Though the special tonight (prime rib) was especially good. Everything from the brie, the rib, coquette, beer, grilled veggies, and dessert were awesome. That's why it's one of our go-to's when we want a night out
