I would be ashamed to call this place Mexican. The food isn’t authentic, or good for that matter. Our ceviche was horrible, the chips were stale, and the mole sauce was tasteless. They also stopped selling tortas…I’m not sure we’ll be back.

I really love the chips and salsa. The rice bowl is really good. I love the fries covered in jalepeno jelly. The restaurant looks really nice inside, however, the booth we sat in had a pretty dirty wall, this seemed out of place as the rest of the place looked really clean and put together really well.

Cascabel Restaurant has delicious margaritas, fresh fish tacos. Our family loves the Chef’s seafood enchiladas, grilled salmon salads with avocados, chicken tortilla soup, and we got unlimited parking next to Luckys in the Sonoma County Wine Country. Delicious, wide menu of flavors with various exotic sauces including chipotle and mole chocolate spiced sauce. Absolutely undeniably delicious with a fine dining atmosphere in a popular light wood well lit dining room. Sonoma has the freshest ingredients, Cascabel chefs know how to mix the dishes together with extraordinary ingredients. The dishes shine with fresh flavor. The seafood shrimp, scallops, crab are perfectly blended together with the cheeses and sauce. Fried fresh fish tacos, unbelievable flaky, fresh fish.

Loved this place. The food was so good! The beef enchiladas were amazing. The meat was so render and the sauce amazing. My husband had the fajitas and they were good and a large portion. The atmosphere was lively and the wait staff was friendly and helpful. All in all it was a fantastic experience!

Had a very nice lunch there this week that was a good value with big enough portions, casual ambiance, and mostly attentive service. Parking is super easy. We shared Fries (very good), I had the tortilla soup which I loved, and hubby had a burrito in a bowl. Only thing we'd change is he'd ask for no cheese and I'd say no crema -- everything tasted great it was just overly generous in quantities for us. Absolutely would go back. Also their complimentary salsa was so good! If they bottled, we'd buy it to go.

Waitress here needs to be fired. It's hard to ignore how badly she treats everyone who's not white.Overpriced food and dusty atmosphere doesn't help.Im surprise their ratings are so high but I can see they make up accounts and give themselves high rating. A place like this does not belong in this city. When I asked to speak to a manager my waitress asked why I needed one then said it wasn't my lucky day? Because they didn't have one..... Will not go back. Will do everything I can to get others not to go here.

Highly recommended by a friend lives in the area, we decided to check out this place for early dinner. We opted for outdoor seating. Indoor looked spacious with full bar settings. Although we came for early dinner around 5ish, the place was already pretty busy. The server was busy but not necessarily attentive so that's the reason why one star reduced.Cochinita Tacos were quite spicy! We ordered few items from Happy Menu ans everything was tasty. Desserts were also excellent. Can't wait to try again if we go back to the area.

My wife and I wanted to try a restaurant we'd never been to and the Yelp reviews for Cascabel were inspiring. Upon arriving, there was only seating in the front or at the bar. We chose the bar and the bartender provided friendly and good customer service. Chips and a dipping sauce were immediately provided. We started with the guacamole which was delicious. My wife is vegetarian and had the Veggies as a quesadilla. They look like a taco presentation along with fries drizzled with a sweet sauce and small salad. She enjoyed her dish. I had the Barbacoa. It was tasty and different from other barbacoa I'd had which had a pulled pork like texture. We look forward to returning:)
