I was expecting the Steak portions to be visually bigger but surprisingly it was filling. The shrimp scampi & garlic mash potatos were good. Their apple cider tea was also sweet and hit the spot on that cold night.

I've been to cattlemens before and its always been a two or three star experience. I've got to say I was pleasantly surprised last night. food was a cut above what I'm used to. service was excellent. it took awhile to seat us but we had a big party, not there fault. overall great. and everyone in my party felt the same. nice work cattlemens!!

Had dinner with out of town guests here on a Thursday night at 7:30. We did make a reservation because past experience is no reservation equals one hour wait. Staff was very friendly and we were seated right in time. Our server was pleasant and there was a good pace to dinner service. One friend ordered a bone in rib eye and the.other.ordered tri tip..My husband has the Pete's special and.i ordered the brochettes. The Pete's special and tri tip were overcooked and tough. The rib eye was cooked properly. The brochettes were okay as well. All of the meals came with salad, bread and a baked potato.I started feeling ill towards the end of the meal and ended up getting sick when I got home. No one else in our party got sick though. I had not felt bad before going and felt fine the next day.The server also got caught up in singing birthday celebration wishes to several parties at other tables so we had to wait a while to receive the check. We have had really good meals here prior to 10/6 but this one did not meet our expectations. It will be a while before we go back.

My kids and I read that the Santa Rosa Cattleman's would be leaving Montgomery Village at the end of the year. We haven't been here before only to the Petaluma one. So I decided to take us out to dinner last night. It was packed on a Monday night. We didn't have a reservation but it was a 30 minute wait which was fine. Once seated our waitress was quick to greet us. Our meal was exactly what we wanted. Steak! My daughter and I had the Ribeye and my son had the Filet Mignon. He ordered his rare and it was exactly what he wanted. My daughter and I both order medium rare, hers was perfectly medium rare mine was in parts a little more medium but it was fine, still delicious. And with the salad and bread and small crock of beans along with our potatoes there was no need for us to get an appetizer, we were full, in the best possible way. It's not fancy but still a nice night out and frankly a very reasonable price for everything we had. We will be back before it's gone.

Wayyyyyy to expensive for bland food, and lack of quality service. Plus their plates and silverware are dirty everytime i go. Will be a while before i give them another shot. I will admit i love their dill sauce though

Very disappointed !! We came in for dinner and sat at the bar . We ordered a filet and t bone . We ordered a bake potato with sour cream and chives . When the order came out the filet was so small and the potatoes were twice baked not what we ordered . My T bone was supposed to be rare . It was well done and the fillet was well done as well which was supposed to be medium rare . The T bone had so much gristle in it and tasted so bad . I will never go back to cattleman's again . How do u screw up a rare steak . Anyway I will drive to Fairfield and go to Texas Roadhouse for my steak.

Service was great considering we had over 20 in our group. The steak and lobster was cooked to perfection, and the mushrooms had a lot of flavor as well as the artichoke dip.

OK food let down by the staff. The Prime Rib grilled in front of you is just the rib being turned onto a buttered hot plate. It was a good sized portion. Drinks were fine given the limited choice. Not worth the money.

They take for ever to answer their phones along with hang-up repeatedly and their online ordering sucks. Plus I can give more then 3 stars to this steakhouse because they get their meat from Auschwitz like concentration camp.....I mean farm. Every year I pass their cattle farm that I can not stand the smell of from 5 miles away.

I had the most amazing steak their last night 9/23. I don't know who the chef was last night but they were on point with making my medium rare steak. My steak practically melted in my mouth. Their salad is fresh and always so tasty and the bake potato was great. The service was good and overall a great meal. Pete's special is just the perfect meal.

Bad bad bad bad worst food and service around the area. It looks like they had served us left overs

This place is great. It's a bit old school but the food is spot on. Tried the Tumbleweed Onions and Potato Skins first and was very pleased. My wife had the ribeye and it was charred perfection and my daughter had the prime rib and it was tasty too. Well worth coming here. Kudos to the receptionist at The Flamingo for recommending it.

Anybody can throw a piece of meat in the fire without any flavor but that's not why you pay them to just do, but at least they cooked it right on medium rare. I have eaten at good steakhouse's and paid pretty much the same money and left feeling that was money well spent. I ordered the sheriff and I saw the waiter look in the kitchen trying to think of what to say. Granted we arrived an hour before they close. I have come to the conclusion that it will probably take longer to cook and they didn't want to stay late. I get it. Cattleman's need to get better. They're not what they used to be.

The service was great thanks Marcus?. The food was mediocre for the ridiculous prices they charge. The music was so loud that my husband could not hear what I was saying & it smelled as if they had not dusted in years. I have severe allergies and when I got home I had to take allergy meds because the dust was so bad & I had been wearing a mask the entire time except when I took a sip of my coke or ate my husbands fry’s. I’m a finish my soda kinda gal but the dust was just to much for my asthma and allergies.
