The interior has a bit of a tropical decor and a nice vacation-type vibe. We decided to order a few plant-based dishes to share. We had the magic mushrooms which had a nice charred taste. The fries were crispy and served with a pineapple ketchup for a different twist. The sliders were good, we ordered them with a lettuce wrap since the buns weren't vegan. I enjoyed my martini and the service was attentive. It was fun to have some plant-based dishes to try and an adult beverage!

We just had brunch at the Flamingo. The best thing about it was the lovely setting (we sat outside by the pool) Everything else was average. Our server was lackluster and inattentive... we had to request a refill of iced tea (and flag down the server to do so) The food was uninspired. We might return for a drink and the setting, but I wouldn't spent the money on food.

Had dinner here before a Brazilian show next door; also in the hotel. The asparagus was/cured egg was divine. Also notable was the silky tofu. I enjoyed a coconut rum cocktail as well. Great food, service and atmosphere.

Needing a little self-care day, I took myself on a date here for happy hour. As soon as I walked in, my eyes lit up. The space was illuminated with beautiful natural light, accentuating all the earthy tones of their decor and offering a breathtaking view of the pool through expansive windows. I was very excited. I sat outside by the pool, where they had a variety of tables and comfortable couches to choose from. The server was very kind and friendly. While the flavors were generally decent, I found the pork and shrimp dumplings to be undercooked, which was disappointing because that was the tastiest thing I had tried. I let my server know, and she was extremely apologetic and informed me that it would be removed from my bill. To my surprise, someone I believed to be the chef or manager, also apologized for the inconvenience. In addition, they provided me with a complimentary dessert. They did handle the situation very professionally and I know these mistakes happen! Despite that occurrence, I'm becoming a regular at Lazeaway Club for the gorgeous and laid-back setting, delicious drinks, and great service. I've since been back multiple times and always enjoy my time there. I do plan to explore more of their food menu on my next visits and will update my review with my experiences. Update: I stopped in for a quick bite and mimosas. I ordered from the early bird cafe breakfast menu. The magic mushroom toast and tropical fruit parfait were absolutely DELICIOUS. As a mushroom lover, this is one of the best avocado toasts I've ever had. The menu was fantastic and I'm eager to keep trying more of their food.

We had one of our best meals ever at the Flamingo this evening. The drinks were fresh and delicious, the food was flawless, and the service was friendly and professional. I did not have high expectations, as I've been to many mediocre hotel restaurants. But I've been to many Micheline rated restaurants as well and our experience rivaled the latter in every way. The setting is a great start, curving around the attractive pool and patio. We ordered the brussel sprouts (crispy and delicious), shiitake mushrooms (delicious sauce), Bimbimbap (best one I've had with perfectly crisp rice, high quality beef, and terrific hot sauce), pork sliders (great flavor), and the green onion pancake (3 delicious sauces). Finished with a delicate pineapple upside down cake. Overall, a fantastic experience complimented by a great vibe and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Magic mushrooms were delicious. Our server Dominic was the best, very friendly and making well informed recommendations. We wish the pork and duck in our dishes were a bit more juicy. My partner had the Pork Plancha and I had the Duck Carnitas Tacos. Drinks were creative and delicious. At the end of the day the menu items at Lazeaway club are creatively done while still wonderfully combining flavors.

We ate here for the first time this week to try out one of their visiting chefs... really neat place, great decor. Food was great. Unfortunately, the service somewhat killed the experience. I think it was mostly isolated to our server and they did look understaffed. We were waiting for 15 minutes before our server came to get the drink order. So when they finally came, we ordered our food at the same time. The server asked us a weird question about one of the drinks and it seemed strange so we did not have much confidence. Thank goodness they read our food order back to us, brcause they got it all wrong and we had to give it to them again. After the server left, we sat there for another 15 minutes waiting for our drinks. I had to ask the hostess to check on them. Our drinks came and another 15 minutes went by... the server came and apologized that the food was taking so long... eventually the food came, a side dish was forgotten but we got that fixed and all the food was great. When we got the check for around $140, we asked for it to be split - $80 to go on one card and the rest ($60) to go on the other card. And that's where things fell apart further. They put $80 on the one card and charged the full amount of $140 on the other card. We let the server know and they fixed it... well today, checked the credit card transactions and there were 3 transactions on one card - $140 + $60 + $60, and $80 on the other card. So we've paid $340 for a $140 meal. We liked the atmosphere and the food so we will give this another shot. Hopefully the service is better.

Grew up in the area and am rediscovering places to enjoy that I wouldn't have considered before. Saw something on social media about a guest chef serving spicy fried chicken, so I had to check it out. The restaurant is cute, mid-century inspired, with a nice view of the pool and hills behind the hotel. We ordered from both the guest chef and the regular menu. All items were good and I look forward to going back. The noise level was pretty loud when I was there, so I wouldn't recommend if you were on a date and wanted to talk, but maybe the bar seating would be better for that. ?

We ordered the chicken and waffles on their pop up menu. The chicken was very dry and the waffles were like hockey pucks, very hard and we could not eat it. It seems like they overcooked it and left it in the waffle maker.

Not a good experience! We stopped by for the fried chicken pop up. Though the chicken was tasty, it was dry and sitting in a pool of oil (not sauce, but oil). That ruined the dish all together. The soba noodle dish was completely soggy. It was as if it was prepped 3 days ago and thrown in a Lexan container and put in a walk in to die. The squash in the noodle dish disintegrated immediately. It was like eating slop. It would have been so much better if the mis en place was separate and made to order. Cornbread was good. Drinks were bad. I did not even taste tequila or grapefruit liquor in my cocktail. I would have sent it back, but service was nonexistent. Ordered wine and the server did not know if it was red, or white. Unsure of the name of the wine, etc. We reviewed the menu together and then it was brought to me after dinner was completed. I would have said something to a manager, but there was not one present. I felt ripped off! Not going back.

This is the second time we have dined here and the food is exceptional. This time we had toe pleasure of trying the Korean fried chicken from NYC pop-up that was in residence last month. It was every bit as good as the regular menu. We plan to return on a regular basis.

Pop up fried chicken was insanely great. Patio dining adjacent to the beautiful pool area is lovely. Service was excellent. This place is a mid-century decor lover's dream come true! We'll definitely return to sample the regular menu.

The famous Pecking House out of NYC is in Santa Rosa! They are doing a pop up kitchen inside the Lazeaway club at the Flamingo Hotel until the end of the month. I was able to do an online take out order of their famous chili fried chicken, cheddar corn bread, butter bean salad and almond panna cotta. The chili fried chicken was a bit on the oilier side but if you love spicy fried chicken, this one will give you a zing! The sides are shareable as they are larger. I especially loved the corn bread and panna cotta! Thanks Lazeaway club for hosting this pop up! I would love to see you guys do more pop up shops from out of town as it brings new flavors to Sonoma county!

Ambiance could not have been more enjoyable during their festive "Sippin' Santa!" From the decorated entrance to inside the transformed restaurant, everything was an incredible nod to Christmas. Lighted trees and blowups around the pool, specially-created menu, floor-to-ceiling decorations - this place is a standout destination during the holidays. I loved it! Service was friendly and the place got busy on this Tuesday night. Reservations recommended during the event. Seasonal drinks were enticing and served in the cutest vessels...but I didn't really like the taste of mine. We ordered the Jingle Bird and the Yule Tide. ($$pricey) Food was visually appealing, and I loved the presentation.... but taste vs. price would not bring me back. ($$) Pupu platter had the right idea. Calamari and spicy aioli was tasty. Favorite was the croquettes. So, all said and done, we're glad we went but not necessarily drawn to return which is a bummer since we are locals.
