This food was so bad. I ordered the short ribs with rice and it wasn't even ribs!!! It was steak pieces that were really ALL GRISCLE, IT WAS TOO GROSS TO EAT!! DO THEY NOT KNOW WHAT RIBS ARE? AND THEY CHARGE OVER 20 BUCKS FOR THIS?? REALLY REALLY BAD!!

On the plus side, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the chicken katsu and I specifically asked how thick/thin the chicken was served. They said in the thicker side holding their fingers an inch+ apart. Sounds good, but when it arrived, it was thin, over cooked, and tasted lile processed chicken. It was not panko style (my mistake for not reading the menu closer and I should have looked at the posted food pictures). The rice was not "sticky" and the Mac salad had way too much dressing. I got my food to go, otherwise i would have spoken to them in person.

Living in Hawaii for almost 20 years, we were excited to find the Hawaiian Grill. Began our tasting venture with, of course, spam musubi and “WOW” was it good and best I’ve had in a very long time. Followed it up with spicy pork, teriyaki chicken and Mac salad. Felt like we were back on the island. We will definitely be back again for more. Our new found “go-to” place for sure.Not to forget . . . the service was great with friendly and efficient staff. One thing I look for in a restaurant is cleanliness and this place is “shiny clean”, no worries there.Thank you for being here and bringing a taste of Hawaii to our neighborhood.

This place shares a spot at Coddingtown Mall with Fire Wings. The wing place seems to get most of the business, but maybe that's because the register to order the Hawaiian BBQ is in the corner and the wing menu and cashier are front and center. If you didn't know the BBQ was there, you might think it isn't there. I had to wait in long for quite awhile to place my order. There was only one counter person, and they were busy helping fill orders. Plus the people in line seemed to not be able to place an order. Once I ordered, it was about a 15 to 20 minute wait to get my food. I think this place is short staffed, which of course is a problem around here. I'd probably go back, IF I could call my order in and they'd answer the phone. If the service were better, I'd really like this place. This food was great! Really tasty BBQ. Prices were good too.
