We (5 of us) had brunch on Mother's Day and our meals were delicious! We had the buttermilk ricotta pancakes, two types of omelets and your special. Just amazing. Mia, our waitress was excellent...attentive and kind. She also kept us warm by monitoring the overhead heater as rain/wind was intermittent. We will definitely return.

Completely underwhelming. I hate to bad mouth a small business but for all the good reviews that was not our experience. I had a chance to take the 90yo grandparents out to lunch today. I suggested we try jewels for a new experience, the reviews looked decent. I called to check if they were busy because the older folks have trouble standing around. There were many tables available and we were seated in the very back next to the bathroom and kitchen where you can hear the toilet flush and the kitchen noise. The table 2 ft away from us to us was 8 people full, and the fact that the waitress seated two 90yo people next to a large table of 20 something's when basically the whole restaurant was open just didn't sit well with me. It wasn't a long wait, we ordered 2 turkey sandwiches 14$ + up charge for the French fries. I order the greens with mine. The sandwiches were good, good flavor, but very-very small and underwhelming. The greens could have been good but literally tasted like they had just poured canola oil over spring mix. I had to spit them out into my napkin after the second bite. Took the check, 47$. Apologized to grandma for the bad restaurant choice. The people next to us had some ok looking breakfast plates so maybe this is just a breakfast restaurant.

No wait for seating, the cook was super friendly. My order was taken promptly. I went to this restaurant during restaurant week specifically for the lemon ricotta pancakes with the triple berry compote that was advertised as part of their restaurant week menu. I informed my waitress that I wanted the pancakes from the restaurant week menu and she failed to inform me that they did not have the ingredients on hand to make the pancakes. She brought me regular pancakes and only after waiting 10min it’s for her to return and me questioning my order was I informed of such. She mentioned that they wouldn’t have them until later in the day. I don’t understand how you’re mid restaurant week and don’t have the ingredients on hand to make the items, or at least notify guests when ordering that menu items are unavailable.

I was a huge fan of the predecessor to Jewelz' kitchen (Emily's) and when I heard they were closing, I was so upset! Thankfully, it just moved into the capable hands of the team at Jewelz' and they remain very good. I love the location in Montgomery Village, and the parking is super convenient, free, and plentiful from any spot in the shopping center. When we arrived, it was opening time on a Sunday. We brought our brand spankin new rescue puppy, so despite the cold, we sat outside on the patio. Mia was our server, and she was friendly, helpful, and brought our little guy some water and a milk bone while we looked over the menu. Mia also turned the heaters on so we wouldn't freeze, and we were toasty warm in no time. I ordered some hot tea ($2.50) and he ordered a cup of coffee ($2.95), and we started with a hot slice of the Lumberjack Cake ($7.50) because why not?! For our entrees I ordered the Croissant Breakfast Sando with the bacon on the side for us vegetarians ($15.50), and he ordered the All American Breakfast ($13) with a side of hash browns ($5.25). The cake came out first and it was so good. Gooey, caramel flavors, coconut, oh man, it was delicious. My mom always said: "Eat dessert first- life is uncertain!" The breakfast sando was gorgeous and topped with some really nice quality avocado and served alongside a perfectly dressed spring mix salad. The bacon on the side was asked about, if it was going to the dog, and I remained vague because I didn't want to anger the chef by admitting I was planning on giving the gorgeous bacon to the dog. Hubby tore through his breakfast, with French toast, eggs and sausage, all the things he loves. Part way through the meal, the chef came out with his hands behind his back. He asked us point blank if we were in fact, feeding the gorgeous bacon to the dog. We were caught red handed! It was true, the bacon was going to the dog. The chef laughed and brought out from behind his back an extra thick slab of bacon just for the dog and made our day- especially our new rescue's day. How generous and thoughtful?! Overall, a very friendly, warm, and tasty breakfast, with a genuinely nice interaction with our server and the Chef. On their receipt it says "be good to people!" and they definitely embody this from the dining experience we had here. It was wonderful to have such a personal moment with this team, and paired with the beautiful and delicious food, Jewelz's is definitely on my return list!

Tucked away in Montgomery village is a tiny gem of a place. It really should be more well known than it is because I haven't had anything I didn't like yet in fact it's hard to recommend a favorite cause there are so many. But if I HAD to choose a favorite it will be the veggie quiche, almost like a savory cheesecake it is to die for. As for sandwiches you will thank me for recommending the smoked turkey sandwich I promise!!! And I'm not a pancake person at restaurants cause I can make them easily at home but not these they are truly unique ricotta pancakes. Everything is fresh and housemade from stove to your table. Worth going if you haven't yet you'll be stoked you have a new favorite place to add to your list!

Cute atmosphere...but the kinda place that makes you wonder whether or not Chef Ramsey needs to pop in and save the day. Are they overwhelmed with DoorDash deliveries? In a totally empty restaurant it was almost impossible to get a cup of coffee within 15 minutes. I was finally ready to pour some for myself. The food was just "eh." I silently grumble when hash browns are soggy and cold. The flavor on the portabella mushroom sandwich was awesome...but I wish they would have dusted the cornmeal off of the English muffin before serving it...I'd rather eat it than wear it. Maybe I'll try back in a few months.

It's so hard to compete with all the amazing breakfast places that Santa Rosa has to offer. The nice thing about Jewelz Kitchen is that it is a cute location in the middle of Montgomery Village and there isn't the unreasonable wait like many other breakfast joints have in Santa Rosa. We got there at 10am and were seated right away. The food is good and they were very accommodating to my request to change out a the ingredient in my omelette that I did not want. Truly the only reason this isn't a five star review is because of the hash browns. They were pretty mushy and while the outside was crispy the inside was all mushed together and did not have a pleasant consistency. The rest of the food was good and the chief and server were absolutely fabulous and very friendly!

Cute breakfast/lunch cafe which serves both until closing. Fast, friendly service. Outdoor seating is dog friendly.

I came this morning for breakfast.... The waitress forgot my order... 15 minutes later came back and asked what I ordered.... 25 minutes later I heard the chef say that he forgot to cook it and he needed A-day off.... Then I was served some soggy hash Browns and an omelet.... Not a pleasant experience

Yelp is the biggest Review site in the world. Anything and everything can be reviewed here. Yet, the majority of the reviews written are for restaurants and eateries. There are many categories of restaurants, and not just the food type or country of origin. I mean there are diners, grills, cafes, bistros, ristorantes, family restaurants, and formal restaurants, to name a few. As such, it is impossible for me to evenly and fairly give a star rating to the myriad of possible restaurant types as if there is one scale---so, I rate each restaurant/business individually without an overall methodology. Jewelz' Kitchen in Montgomery Village is a mom-and-pop, upscale boutique restaurant offering breakfast and lunch. Julie and Mitchell are the owners and proprietors of this charming and lovely sanctuary for delicious food. They make every breakfast eggs dish, salad, sandwich, soup, burger, and cheesecake with simple beauty and tangible kindness. In fact, all the staff, chefs and servers, wear T-shirts with the words, "Be Kind" on their backs. My favorite server, besides when Julie waits tables herself, is Mia. Mia exemplifies kindness and politeness itself. The menu is primarily a carry-over from the previous proprietor, Emily's Kitchen, which I frequented regularly too. I cared for Emily and her mint-green painted restaurant. Yet, Julie (aka Jewelz) has improved more than just updating the paint job in the aqua direction. She has instilled a sense of place that exceeds the previous establishments that existed there before. Julie is always seeking to help others, to give people the benefit of the doubt, and to support individuals who need encouragement in life by sometimes giving them jobs. I want food which more than feeds my taste buds and body. I love the nourishment to my spirit that I taste in the culinary fare from Jewelz' Kitchen. And, I love the place, where Jewelz has created with kindness for me and others to enjoy her delicious savory dishes and desserts. Review 0215 Feel.

I love this restaurant, the food is wonderful and the service is always good. I think it's a seasonal item, but if the prawn salad is on the menu, get it! It's so so good. Mushroom sandwich is great, be sure to get the tater tots, so yummy.

The service was very slow to the point where we didn't get the check until after they had closed. The food was middle of the road. The tater tots were good.

We sat outside for lunch, arriving a little before 11:30am. We were quickly seated, and not long after, all outdoor tables were taken. I had the veggie omelet of the day, which they described as Mediterranean. It had artichoke hearts, feta, kalamata olives, and sun-dried tomatoes. I think it also had spinach. The omelet was fluffy, moist, and tasty. It came with hash browns, which were fresh, crispy outside, and moist inside.
