We'll miss you LA Plaza. I first can't believe they changed the beautiful front entrance. I will miss my succulent large pieces of chicken and the peppers and onions on my regular burrito. The new one had tiny pieces of discolored chicken the was incredible dry. My hubby ordered cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. The enchiladas and sauce were tasty but the refried beans were almost white in color and tasted odd. I wish them well but I'm back to Chelinos

Went to get a Azteca burrito and thankfully I only bit into the tortilla I saw that the chicken looked weird I opened it up and honestly looked raw and felt sick just with the site of that and the one time 20 bucks for raw chicken f that not coming here ever again

My friend and I went to this restaurant based off of the incredible reviews and delicious looking pictures it has. I LOVE Mexican food and was quite excited to try La Plaza out. We immediately noticed we were the only guests but were starving and decided to try it anyway. I'm not sure if they've recently changed their food or what, but there is absolutely no way anyone on this earth would be leaving such raving reviews after eating such poor quality, disgusting food. The pico de gallo was sweet and old, with soggy and sad tomatoes. The guacamole was grey and tasteless (it looked like it was dumped out of one of those mushy packets you can buy at any old store), the carne asada was bland (by bland I mean it looked and tasted like boiled meat with maybe some salt and McCormick pepper). The chips were cold and seemed like they were dumped out of a bag. The mole was awful - it tasted like I'd imagine a fart tastes. Nothing seemed homemade or made fresh. It truly was awful. It was also a little awkward because the owner watched us eat from start to finish (literally stared at us from the counter, while loudly talking on the phone). I was so confused and disappointed because I really was expecting some incredible food based off of previous reviews. Needless to say, we both felt nauseous from the bites we took and won't be back :(

Many Mexican restaurants claim to be authentic. I know authentic Mexican food from working next to Hispanic co workers for years. La Plaza is the truth. It’s off the charts authentically perfect. If there were a thousand star option that’s what I would select. I had the chili verde tacos and they were perfect ???. Highly recommend this place!
Windy outside and pricey but really tasty, really friendly, great service, great atmosphere; definitely would go again... Four dessert options that looked fantastic, and although I only tried one, it was!

Never in my life have I witnessed such disgusting behavior from a owner of a business as I did today when a older gentleman who had an accident in the restaurants bathroom while his wife was trying to clean him and the restaurants bathroom up. Come to find out the man has Alzheimer's and dementia. The owner was rude and kicked them out over an accident I mean really! It was the most disgusting behavior ! I will never give this place my business again.

Yes, I'm furious, so yes I am posting this review anywhere/everywhere I can. This place treated my family like crap after one of them had an accident in their restaurant. The family tried to remedy it and clean up the mess but the owner was absolutely rude and told them never to "bring someone like that" (onset mental health problems. Accidents happen RARELY) and made them leave. Seriously - accidents happen once in a while. It's not like the family was rude, and they were willing to clean up the accident. We used to eat here but after that, never again. WTF. If I could give negative stars, I would. Good food isn't worth it if there's horrible people providing it.
