Mandarin Kitchen offers a delightful mix of pan-Asian dishes. As you enter, the cozy ambiance sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The menu is full of tempting options, like the irresistible Bang Bang Shrimp, a spicy shrimp appetizer that leaves you craving more along shook in Aioli sauce.Their Mandarin Pad Thai is a symphony of flavors and brings you the traditional Pad Thai taste, blending tender rice noodles, crisp veggies, and savory proteins, in a perfectly balanced sauce with peanuts. And for those who love classic Chinese-American cuisine, the Orange Chicken is a must-try. Each crispy bite coated in tangy orange glaze is pure comfort food bliss.Beyond the delicious food, Mandarin Kitchen offers good service, making every guest feel welcome and valued. Whether you're dining with friends or on a romantic date, this restaurant promises an unforgettable experience. Located in the heart of Montgomery Village, it's a culinary gem worth exploring.

Beautiful place and very flavorful and comforting food. Had door open, got chilly, and service was a bit slow. Had a spicy old fashioned, sea bass, and hot and sour soup, yum! Server gave me some crispy noodles for soup on request...thx ?✌️

The salmon salad was very good. Lots of greens had extra to take home. The veggie egg rolls were also excellent. I left full. The staff was very kind helpful and sophisticated. I was not rushed and on a Sunday I really appreciate that. Thanks for a positive and serene experience.

The interior of this restaurant is so beautiful, I could sit in it all day. Very comfortable seating and the workers were so sweet. We mostly came here for the $1 oysters and they were AMAZING. They were fresh, sweet, and paired so deliciously with their vinaigrette! They're only the small side, which makes sense, but I love the size! I will definitely be coming back here for them. We also ordered the bang bang shrimp, har gow, and pad thai. DEFINITELY order the bang bang shrimp! Crunchy and a delicious sweet-savory flavor. DON'T get the pad thai. It was way too salty and had too much oyster sauce. The har gow was just okay, I would skip it next time. Overall, this restaurant was way better than I expected. I'll be back to try the other menu items! If you love oysters, then I definitely recommend coming here for their $1 oyster deal (Mon - Thurs).

Another fabulous experience here. All the servers are well trained, professional and attentive. Today our server was Ryan. I enjoyed the garlic eggplant last time so much I ordered it again. My friend loved her pumpkin curry. Very pleasant ambience with nice music playing in the background.

Pretty good meal, very healthy taste to it. I got the Singapore Noodles and everything on the menu list is what you get. No special sauce hidden in there or even a salt mixture. Not bad for a night out on the town.

Very good food, our local go-to for quick Asian. Staff always friendly and happy hour prices are great!

I have never been treated so poorly at an establishment in my life. We were turned away as we entered the door. We came in at 2:30. My elderly mother was walking in behind us with my sister and the host asked us how many, we said four and he walked towards the kitchen. He returned in a few minutes and said, he was sorry they were closed. I am so disgusted.

I was so looking forward to their $1 oysters. The oysters were great but really didn't like their sauce. Sorry!

i need to write an update to my previous review..... UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should there be a "micro table " squeezed in" next to the napkins, pitcher, computer screen for running tabs and ordering food for others. I was quite literally 2 ft. away from "busy fingers". Our server was friendly. That said, I called the manager to let her know that the Sea Bass that we both ordered was very fishy tasting. I've had a lot of sea bass in my day...it was not fresh. It was a special night, as it was our anniversary, the last thing I was going to do was create any drama over the meal. The manager called back, but there was no follow up. I think the quality is suffering here now. We won't be back.

Recently had lunch here . Atmosphere is lovely and service was good. Food was a bit underwhelming especially my hot and sour soup which was neither. Free shrimp Chips and dipping sauce seem outdated. I'll give it another try.

Oh YUM!! Raw oysters so fresh they taste like the sea. Daredevil drink needs a caution warning for those peppers with INTENSE heat. Of note sips of the Taste of Asia cocktail and the Beach cocktail both seem to cut the heat somewhat. Each of these drinks are delicious. Devine tacos with scallops cooked so perfectly they melt as you bite into them. Bang Bang shrimp are always a hit. Never made it to the main entree this time (but previous visits have proven that every item on the menu is a treat.). Did celebrate a birthday with a shared rum raisin gelato. Such a smooth taste that we had to ask the maker (Friollis out of Marin County)

We stopped in for lunch- great lunch deals. We enjoyed our food and shared one cocktail that was pretty good too. Reasonably priced at lunch time.

Went for Happy Hour and the price for cocktails was very good and a decent selection. Ordered Shumai and it was pretty poor! I ordered the ginger chicken and was pretty good. They must get better for me to go back!
