I ordered a California burrito with chorizo instead of steak. They were happy to accommodate and also made sure I knew the chorizo would be a different texture than most of the other meats. I order chorizo all the time but since they have the translation (pork sausage) on the menu, I thought this was really nice as it could be helpful for folks who haven’t had chorizo. All of the staff were super friendly. The burrito was one of the best I’ve ever had. I also loved the Jamaica, which wasn’t over sweetened like many other places. Overall fabulous experience!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu

I live near Ochoa's in Santa Rosa so we mostly get takeout. Their dining room is not too big but is always clean and organized. Their food is tasty and consistent. I had the super veggie burrito this trip, which is enough for two meals for me. The folks are nice but since get take out I have no strong opinions on the service. Nice low key local spot for a quick bite to eat.

My family loves Ochoas. Good food and good prices! Never been disappointed and I have been coming for years. My favorites are the horchata and carne asada burrito. Always quick service and when you eat in the restaurant they serve everything beautifully.

Really a 4.7 spot for burritos, haven't tried the whole menu, but great burritos. Super clean dining and kitchen, Friendly atmosphere, goid service and attention to detail (my order had some menu deviations, no this, add that, they nailed it.. Been there probably 20 times, and I will keep coming back.

I ordered a breakfast burrito she asked me to choose what I wanted bacon ham or pork sausage I chose the pork sausage. The burrito was to go brought it home shared half of it with my husband and oh boy I have to tell you don't order it!! I'm so sick and let me tell you that was not pork sausage. It was fried up hotdog I had to pull it all out in order for me to even eat it, and it was more smashed up potatoes than there was any eggs and I tasted no cheese. So For the price, they charge me never again

Our first visit here not long ago. Mexican food is really not my thing, but my wife loves it. The food was good to me compared to the many other places we have tried. The rice and beans were flavorful and the cheese enchilada was loaded with cheese. The chili relleno was not my favorite. It was mostly breading with a very small chili. Their sauces are nice. The chips are the thicker ones. Probably better for nachos. The salsas are hot - at least for us, but they were good. Nice drink selection as well. I can see why people like this place. The lady at the front taking the order seemed as if she did not like her job but I did not let that bother me. The prices seem fair for what you get. It is small inside and the ambiance is nothing special. You can see from the pics that others have posted. Seemed clean and the food took a bit to come out, but I saw many orders on the kitchen wheel when we came in and I only saw one person cooking, so it wasn't too bad considering. We will go back and give it another shot.

Been going here over a decade. Their quality has done up and down over the years. Same with their staff. I tried it today after not being here for over 2 years and food was ok, I’d say above average. Hostess was nice. I’d go

How Ochoa's doesn't have 5 stars on here is beyond me. They have the best Mexican food, period. Regular chicken burrito? Rice bean and cheese burrito? They're simply the best. Classics, just so good. Their Sebastopol location is better, but this one is still fantastic. We've been getting food from Ochoa's for as long as I can remember -- it's our go-to. They have my highest possible recommendation.

I had asked for shredded chicken tacos, I received carne asada. No one checked on me or my experience. The taco shell was your basic store brand, flavorless, dry... I had hoped for a deep fried tortilla shell, but nope. The carne asada is waaaaaay too salty and literally not edible. I did not finish either taco. They were very generous with the sour cream, the salsa is spicy and delicious. But overall, not impressed.

My husband and I spent the day in Santa Rosa and came upon this little restaurant. After looking at their menu, we realized that they didn't have Chilaquiles on their menu, so I asked the lady, taking our order if Chilaquiles was an available option. She stated she would ask the cook. He responded by saying he could make them but only in green salsa. We were so pleased to hear him say yes. OMG!!!! He did an amazing job! We let him work his magic, and they were the best we have ever had. Way better than mine.I'm a foodie, and I loved their Chilaquiles in green salsa ( chorizo, scrambled eggs, and green salsa). ?❤️?Everything was fresh and nicely presented. If we're ever in Santa Rosa again, we will definitely stop by again. We encouraged the cook to add this item to their menu. ??Los mejor Chilaquiles que hemos provado! La salsa verde estaba bien deliciosa! ? Muy buen servicio! Saludos desde Bakersfield, CA | Service: 5/5 |
