Piner Cafe is the place to go for an exceptional 'diner' experience. It feels so homey, but has a youthful vibe regardless. The waitstaff are so personal and know many customers by name. My boyfriend got the BBQ Bacon burger with onion rings, and garlic fries on the side. The burger was cooked perfectly, not soggy, and the red onions were very fresh. Best garlic fries ever! I got a classic grilled cheese with fries, cheddar on sourdough.
I'm truly surprised I had never eaten nor drank here after having heard dozens of stories about the place. The food was great and the place was stunningly busy for a late Sunday brunch time, but was almost empty by the time we finished around 2PM though.

The restaurant was quite busy, indicative of its quality. The food was excellent, and the staff adeptly managed the high volume of customers, resulting in surprisingly short wait times. Cool looking building as well.
