The pastries were great when we had them first thing in the morning (farmers market), but on our next visit to the store they were already getting stale by 10:30am. We ordered two sandwiches with no mayo or mustard and both were made with plenty of each, so they were not eaten. Disappointing and frustrating overall. Customer service was terrible. The young female employee who "helped" us clearly hates her job. Not sure we'll be back.

The best quality local bakery. Lived in Cotati and was first introduced, than moved to Sebastopol and was blessed to have them in the Barlow. Sucks they got gouged out on rent for some stuffy French bakery. But I know they are doing better in Santa Rosa (smart move)

Okay so we had a takeout experience so this review is solely about the food. The breakfast burrito will not disappoint. It's big, delicious, and tasteful! It's not even because I was hungry y'all. My belly tells no lies. On top of that the chocolate cake donut...impressive. It was moist, perfect amount of sweet, and honestly so so good. I like that it wasn't your typical donut and actually had character. I will be returning for more. What's not to love!
Great birthday cake customized for my brother. But I have to say they over did it on the buttercream icing. Way too much... Would have preferred a more solid/less wet raspberry filling also. Still are taste buds were very happy thank you.

Redbird bakery makes delicious bread and pastry and food too. They are pretty popular so the lines can be a little long, but the move fast.

OMG! Absolutely spectacular. Was in the neighborhood and though I'd stop by to check it out. Took several minutes to check out all the offerings (shout out to server Judas patiently waiting) and swooped in. Got a lemon and a chocolate pudding tart, an apple square and a chocolate croissant, a koulouri (sesame sourdough ring) and a Chicken Pesto Ficelle (sandwich). Everything (and I mean *everything*) was amazing. The tarts had a great cookie crust and with the filling smooth and sweet, the pastry was incredibly flaky the bread was fresh, tasty and filling. The next day we were talking about what we wanted to try on our next visit!
Good eats....only tried the breakfast goodies. But a "must" if in the area. And a second bonus...two twins or Acme burgers are in same location. Triple header.....

This place is my favorite coffee and breakfast to go in the morning. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I love that everything is fresh, and sometimes when they don't have my breakfast burrito, they make it for you. I love retrograde coffee and can't always make it into the shop, so it's so great they partner with them on their coffee. My best friend came to visit for Christmas and we decided to grab breakfast and eat in the bakery. I love the fresh plants and the cute layout of the place. It's bright and vibrant. This is definitely one of my favorite places in Cotati. And I am always telling my friends, family and co-workers to go in and support them. I'm so glad to have Red Bird so close to home!

Picked up a birthday cake over the weekend, I very much disappointed by the quality.. the bread was really dry and stale and the filling was way too sweet! I love their pastries they are very delicious but the cakes, I don't not recommend buying.
