I wanted to wait to try it first before reviewing 1st . I was told it was going to be one hour . Came back after a hour and was told it was going to be another 20 to 30 mins MAYBE . Asked if I could leave my number this time . Wasn't given that option from the start . PLUS wasn't told the wait time until after I paid 2nd . Once I received my order it was very cold and it has a very strong lemon taste that over powers the sandwich . From other recent reviews looks like they maybe just need to come up with a better system for their orders .

The line for this place was quite long, not to mention the place was understaffed. It took what seemed liked forever to get the food. But it ended up tasting great, the beignets are amazing.

Karly ..

Sonoma Crust has primarily switched to catering. However they still open for pop-ups occasionally. I went to the most recent one on Easter, preordered my food for 12:15 pick up and my food was not ready until 2:20, it was over 2 hours late. Almost everyone there was waiting close to 2 hours for food. The worst part was there was zero communication about the delay other then "we are running behind". They wouldn't tell you how long you were going to wait or offer to cancel/refund orders. If you started asking for a refund then it seemed magically your food was being boxed up now but then they would disappear in the back for another 20 minutes (this happened multiple times). It was a disorganized chaotic mess and I can not understand how they could just leave a huge line of customers waiting outside for that long with no communication of a plan of when they could actually expect their orders and offering refunds if they couldn't wait.

I LOVED both the chicken/waffle sandwich with coleslaw & the Mac and Cheese. I'm not usually one to order these but was encouraged to try them here. Best food I've had for awhile. The service was friendly and prompt. You have to try this place!

This will be the best chicken sandwich you've ever had. This will be the best waffle sandwich you'll ever have. This will be the best chicken-waffle, crisp-apple-coleslaw-aioli, spicy-sweet-homemade-tomato-jam, oh-my-word sand which you'll ever have. They do pop ups and post their schedule regularly on Instagram, enjoy :) hands down my favorite place on earth, don't tell my grandma

Yikes. My husband showed up to the pop up this past weekend and ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and a fries to go. No, we did not call ahead but that's okay, we are aware the service is a little slow. Well my husband is sitting there and 1 hour later it's still not ready! 1 hour! I mean that's just ridiculous. No, it was not insanely busy, there was only a couple other people. We support small businesses and understand it may be a one man show, this is not based off entitlement but jeeze what if a customer ordered on their lunch break? If staff anticipates the food taking that long to be prepared, then they at least need to give their customers a heads up BEFORE they order to give them the option to decide if they still want to proceed. The worse part was after waiting that long, the fries were cold and stale! You would think they would've been freshly fried. Overall the sandwich was good, but $8 for old fries and 1 hour long wait, we'll reconsider.

I cannot believe I have not reviewed this place. First off, ANNE is so amazing. I had been going here for years before I moved. I would order 5 to 15 sandwiches at a time for people at my work, please keep in mind that Anne hand breaded and fried every chicken sandwich and this would ruin her wait time's, but she would always greet me when I came in with a smile and come out and give me a hug. Even when I wasn't there she knew my family, my sister, son, even ex mother in law. There are few people in this world as kind as Anne. Okay now the food, have not tried the pizza but the chicken sandwiches (the original, parm, and the spicy) are something that must be experienced in life to be able to die happy. Her soups have more depth than the Mariana trench, oh and the beignets are absolutely fire. I miss this place so much and miss Anne even more

Would've rated this place 3 stars, but the people I was with really enjoyed this place. We had the chicken waffle sandwich. It was okay, the other two people really liked it.My friend endorses the tea.Bring your own waterbottle or expect to pay $3 for a water. They don't have a tap option.Apparently their hours are really variable.

After reading all the reviews I'm just cracking up what people complain about!! We went for there pop up "brunch" this last Sunday. Amazing! If you follow there instagram or Facebook you would know when she is open! We found her at Cooprage brewing company with her pizza truck ( her catering business)! We had the fungi pizza and it was mouth watering. She only dose Brewery and private catering events with the pizza . Now we found out she is doing "pop ups" at her cafe ,some Sundays when she is not booked doing pizza. And she has a guest catering Company smackin soul food come in a do a collaboration.. it's like the best of both worlds you get to taste these catering companies food without having to book them it's called a pop up to all the people that don't know. We ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich, which was divine waffle ,crispy chicken, full of flavor, love the hint of apple in the slaw, and aïoli was amazing. My fried ordered the breakfast fries from Smackin soul food Tri-tip on top of sweet potato fries was just a perfect breakfast combo. And yes, I paid three dollars for a water because it's bottled and you don't know if the tapwater is clean that's the average price for restaurant or café. We had a DJ playing amazing music so it really set the vibe for the patio . All orders are Togo but you can sit and chill and enjoy your food there..or take it home..Our food came out, hot and fresh, I waited about 20 minutes and it was worth the wait. Can't wait for the next pop up. I will definitely be back for brunch! I support local business you can tell both chefs put time and love into there food..The Jones

I have no idea of the customer service here. From other reviews I can see that the waffle style food is good. I've never been here so I have no idea what the environment is like. The only first impression I have is this supposed pizza company has absolutely no pizza reviews to be found here. I think it's a good idea for the owner to figure out what this businesses priorities are. Waffles or pizza?

FYI! They’re closed but not posted on here so wasted drive down from Windsor. Called the number to see if update but it says will be closed for January. Chairs and tables are out like they were open

If you are in the Sonoma area then this is a must try. I haven't been back in about three years sadly and I still dream about the spicy chicken and waffle sandwich!!! Also their deserts are amazing too!

Sad about no more chicken sandwiches good luck with your pizza. Spicy Waffle Sandwich RIP

Just a heads up that they have closed for the month of January... I drove a fair bit to see if the beignets are as great as they say and check out the fried chicken sandwiches, but had failed to call them before I went. Sounds like they will reopen in February but I suggest you call first.
