the worst pizza I have ever bought. we picked up took home and opened. sat down with nice cold beer and dove in. crust was cooked ok but zero flavor. could have been wonder bread toast. I am assuming that they ran out of sauce. after all it was Friday night at 5:00. not much cheese and absolutely no oil on at all. I don't like a lot of oil but some is necessary. I ran a pizzeria in nj and know what should taste like. I also know that there are many styles and likes. Also. $22.00 plus for a plain pie is overboard. especially with it being the driest,no sauce , with no flavor. I will never go back. try somewhere else. still have seven slices. Any takers?

Today was the last time I order a pizza from this outfit. I ordered a large pizza. Half sausage and half pepperoni. Possibly the worst pizza I ever had. I took it home, and everyone iny family, without exception, did not finish even one slice. I threw almost the whole thing in the garbage. Santa Ynez deserves better.

Weekday afternoon, no other inside customers but frequent phone orders coming in. Played vintage PacMan for 25c! Our host was friendly, attentive; prices a tad over franchise prices but our order was timely and hot. Salads fresh, crispy, plentiful. Pizza very tasty, fair amount of toppings, crust actually perfectly baked and texture. We'll be back.

Love this place. We eat pizza here whenever we are in town. This time we got a large and did half and half. Half of the pesto primavera and the other half of the large the loaded. So delicious, very generous with the toppings beautifully presented as always. This place never disappoints. And the staff is so friendly the restaurants and restrooms are very clean. We highly recommend the pizza shack.
The pizza was great, but the service, policies, and prices left much to be desired. You can't buy a glass of wine. They only sell by the bottle. The beer was weak (tasted watered down), there were no menus, and you had to ask for every condiment plus salt and pepper.

We were in Santa Ynez for a mountain bike race and set up a team dinner at The Pizza Shack. It is such a cute place! They provided great service and awesome food. I know we must have been overwhelming with all of us, but that did not stop them from providing top notch service.

Called to place an order at 5 for pick up for 5 large pizzas. Told me they were too busy to fill order and that they would put me on hold to check with manager. Say on phone for 5 minutes called them back to voicemail with no room to leave a voicemail. If doesn't seem like they want business. Gino's in Buellton has better service and frankly better pizza. Worth the drive out.
