Found this restaurant upon happenstance while visiting central coast. It's a 2 hour drive from home for me, so it's now going to be my destination special occasion place.

Same as it ever was. Best Italian in the SYV. Try to sit at the pizza bar and watch the kitchen work.

Had dinner here last night with my girlfriend and parents. The food and wine were all amazing. We had pizza's, a couple different pastas, Scottish salmon and desserts. The owner, Danielli sat and talked with us. He is an amazing guy who moved here from Italy in the 90's and grew a family with his wife who he met locally. It seems that he knows everyone in the entire Santa Ynez valley and everybody loves him because literally every single person/group that left the restaurant came and talked with him and he introduced us to everybody. All around amazing experience and I highly recommend going here!

There were 14 of us celebrating a family birthday. I'm not sure if there was an additional charge for the private room but it was nice and we didn't have to worry about how loud we were. Our waiter was great, the other servers were great, and everyone enjoyed their meals. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening.

The food was delicious. We went in a group of 15 and ordered 20+ dishes and everything was great. Personally I can say the Burrata Arugula salad was fresh and light. I also enjoyed the Tortellini and lasagna.

The homemade spinach ravioli was filled with mush and the pasta skin was inconsistent; some parts paper thin and some parts thick enough that it wasn't cooked through.Only saving grace was the burrata salad.

Food here was AMAZING. My family and I drove from Santa Clarita to rest here for special occasions. After the pandemic, like many places, the food was never the same. The seafood stew is still amazing but the pasta... Meh. We'll still come to visit but probably not as often. The staff, on the other hand, TOP NOTCH! Hard working, attentive, all the good things!

There was a waiter missing in action...we needed to go find someone to take care of us. I ordered pasta with clams which was inediable...the clams were full of sand and pasta was over cooked. However the lobster ravioli was ok, we sat having to wave down bus people to serve us. in total a horrible dinner and we were begging for wine just to get through it!!

This is an old establish Italian restaurant/pizzeria.The place is all table seating (no booths) and a bar.The food is good, traditional and very satisfying. My wife had the spinach ravioli (you get 5) and it was ok. Not very flavorful.I have the linguini crostacei. It has lots of muscles, clams, good sized shrimp and salmon. The pasta was perfect, the seasonings were good, light flavored but perfect for the dish. The bread was room temp and hard crusted (rustic) a standard around these parts, but ok.The price is about average for post covid restaurant dining (27) each plate. The atmosphere is casual, the serv8ce was nice, polite and efficient.I would say, try it, but there are a lot of other places that might be better.
