10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I'm so glad I decided to try this place out because it was a bit of a drive for me but well worth it. As soon as I walked in there was a lady who immediately assisted me. She was so sweet and kind. I got a half box of baklava (see photo) by far the BEST I've had in San Diego and I've tried SEVERAL places. It was well priced, not too expensive in my opinion. SO DELICIOUS. I loved the variety of flavors. There's a reason why this place has over 200 reviews with 5 stars. Do not miss the opportunity to stop by here.

Best baklava I've ever had! Their nearly 5-star score is well-earned. We always get the 16-piece variety set and every flavor is delicious. The sweetness level is just right for me. Everyone I've talked to is very friendly as well. It's not a traditional storefront, because they mainly supply to restaurants, but anybody can walk in and grab a box. The quality is very good and consistent. What's nice is they throw in a few extra baklava when you get a box.

One of the best Baklavas I've personally tried. This is a large order shop located at an industrial area so they dont sell individual orders. Luckily y for me they were nice enough to let me try their baklava sample & I really appreciated that so thanks again to the nice lady. Now I will be ordering a large box for my next party! I highly recommend their baklavas because they were just perfectly made & not too sweet.

These boxes make great gifts. * Google directions might lead you to the wrong side of the building. The place really doesn't have much in the way of signage. * You can order specific baklavas if you call ahead.

Hands down the absolute best baklava I've ever eaten. Everyone I shared these treats with was simply amazed at the freshness and quality. How convenient that I was able to order them online and pick them up next day beautifully prepared and packaged with care. This unassuming little factory tucked away in a business park has a charm when you walk in, small family business with happy workers making the magic happen right there. They were so sweet to give me a little sample to go so I didn't need to break into the boxes of my order for a taste. I am obsessed with all varieties but the pistachio ones are my favorite. Pair with a cup of hot tea and wow, pure pleasure. I'm so glad I found this gem by searching "best baklava in San Diego" because it really is!!!

Middle Eastern/ Med. Treats! After spending a month in Egypt and Jordan during Ramadan back in '98- I get a craving during this time of the year for these types of delicacies. All I can say is... Thank You Baklava King for such wonder treats and prompt delivery. You take me back to walking the night time streets in Cairo where pastry shops would make pyramids of these different types of Baklava- fresh, glazed with honey and everyone is celebrating the break in fasting for the day. Anyway, if you weren't there, Baklava King is the next best thing. I love ordering for friends and clients this time of year as well. Not only do friends, family and clients love getting the shipments they talk about it every time I see them. Right now I'm on my way to a family Christmas gathering where I pre- sent these to enjoy today with the family. Let's Go!!!

This is the best baklava in the state. I get baklava at a really good international bakery near me, but it still doesn't compare to Baklava King. It's worth the drive to Santee. It's delicious for yourself and also a guaranteed wonderful gift - sure to be a hit as soon as it is tasted. It is not an eat-in bakery and it's tucked away in a business center, but they will help walk-ins. It's better to order ahead. The pastries are packages beautifully and freeze very well in case you want to purchase it early. They suggest you let them "age" a little, but unless they are frozen, that would require more self-control than I have!

Baklava King has the absolute best baklava you can buy. They offer a variety of flavors and sell an assortment box that makes a wonderful gift. They are housed in a small production suite off Prospect Ave in Santee. It really doesn't even look like they are open to the public; however, they are. It is definitely worth going here if you want quality baklava.
