Management must be reading the negative reviews about the employees not giving enough meat because I got plenty of meat in my steak burrito when I went about 2 weeks ago. The gentleman who served me was extremely friendly and bubbly.

The cashier was so rude, we ordered two bowls, we barely got any protien, and I simply wasn’t satisfied with the portion of one of the plates, and I told het, she didn’t even care and instead of her saying how can i make it better, she said this is our portion and was focusing on doing the payment.. we went expecting better portion and better customer service

I ordered to go today and wife picked it up for me. Got a steak burrito and when I was eating it at home I didn't even see a piece of steak in the burrito until half way through and done... When I finished the burrito I counted about 7 pieces of dried old steak. I also order chips and salsa. The chips were stale and not even lightly salted.Disappointment all around. People weren't lying when they said quality has gone downhill since the Taco Bell CEO took over.

We still love the food. We also love the chips. However the last few times the chips don't have the lime flavor they used too and they are very overcooked and sometimes stale.

They are starting to get stingy with their portions..I would stick to a burrito. That way you don't get less than you do on a bowl

Asked for receipt and was argued with when I informed that the employee should hand the receipt to the customer out of respect. I guess we can't expect respect anymore...If you don't teach the children to be good, they won't.

Poor management = poor experience. Frontline help and cashier disinterested, terse and unfriendly. The food was okay, but a smile and a thank you would be nice. Skip this location if you want to be welcome.

So I normally come here almost everyday after work to get my Nephew a Kids Meal for his dinner , and I usually get a side of salsa for him.. so today I went in 12/06 around 6:20 pm .. and the short girl with the black hair and gold chain, tells me it's an extra $1.60 as it's a kids meal, I told her it's not for me and that it's for my nephew , like do Kids not eat salsa too , not only did she say it rude she proceed to ignore me as she was talking to one of her friends that came in and proceeded to give him a free side of guacamole.. like yea usually order food for me too but I didn't Today. I usually spend $60-$80 bucks a week here. NOT NO MORE , you can keep ur salsa,

I just did an online order and went to go pick it up. The portions are very small compared to when you go through the actual line inside. The rice in my bowl didn’t even cover the bottom of my bowl. I asked for extra on an item and got a regular portion that I would get inside the store going through the line. The person working to go I’ve had problems with before about portions and spoke up about it to a manger prior. Maybe 3-4 weeks ago. Clearly nothing has changed. The person working to go today doesn’t even change gloves after touching her face. When she asked for my name she pushed her glasses up with the gloves she grabbed food with, handed me my order then proceeded to continue grabbing cheese and lettuce. This place has gone down hill.

The quality at this location is generally poor. We won’t be back. Our last visit was particularly bad. They put scraps of chicken (bottom of the pan) on our orders and brought out fresh chicken immediately after. We asked if we could get some of the fresh chicken and we were told we would have to pay for double chicken. There was literally not one “piece” of chicken in my order, just shreds. We like Chipotle but avoid this location.

Wow. I used to work for a restauranteur Chipotle, about 5 years ago. I cannot believe how many levels Chipotle has dropped since then. So sad, and so disappointing. Chipotle was such a wonderful go-to, the perfect place for people that care about money and health. Now, it is impossible to contact anyone, no way to add notes about your order or customize it, no consistency, and no respect. Can’t remember the last time I’ve had good Chipotle. I keep trying, and keep getting disappointed. They really had it going on, and now I can no longer rely on Chipotle. I can’t vote for them, I cannot support them. So much potential, but wow, what a disappointment. I feel so sorry, that such a wonderful establishment has drowned like this.

This Chipotle has the worst customer service. I went with my family on Halloween for their Boorito special. We didn't order ahead because when I called a recording said the app was down and to come in and they would honor the Boorito deal. When we arrived, I informed the server before I ordered that I was there for the Boorito deal and she proceeded to say that was only for online orders. I told her that I just called and their phone recording said the app was down and we could order it in person. She simply said that's not true. No apology or explanation as to why their recording said incorrect information. We proceeded to try and order online there, but the website would not let us enter the special code. I asked the cashier (who was doing nothing but staring into space at the cash register) how I was supposed to enter the discount code and his response was I have no idea how the website works. Clearly, he didn't care if we ordered anything or not and was completely clueless. He then proceeded to tell another couple that they weren't taking anymore online orders and they would have to go to the El Cajon store. The couple responded that the El Cajon store was closed and questioned why they wouldn't be taking anymore online orders as the store was open for another 45 mins and there was no one ordering food there. It was clear that neither staff members wanted to help customers or actually do any work as they tried to tell customers to leave and go to another store. We were there for over 15 mins and the store only had 2 other customers besides us. There's a reason no one is coming here even on one of their busiest promotions of the year. My family and I were so frustrated with the online ordering system and the lack of customer service that we just left without ordering anything and went to a real Mexican restaurant, Bad Hombres, down the street. Chipotle needs to hire employees that actually want to work and train them on basic customer service.
