Recently found this outstanding taco shop in Santee. The food is very tasty and the service is amazing and friendly.

Just a few days ago was my first experience here and no doubt not my last. I expected low quality considering the location and the fact that nobody local has been talking about it lately, but I was very pleasantly surprised when the quality was amazing. I usually choose Bad Hombres because of its local popularity but I may start choosing this instead.. Very good experience and recommended to anyone that needs a new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Delicious breakfast burritos! We had just moved back to San Diego and we were unloading our U-Haul into our new home. This was the first taco shop we tried, and we were amazed.

I've been coming here for a couple months now the food is pretty solid and the portions are good along with the price, BUT the big Samoan/mexican looking guy is kinda rude doesn't really give the best service he doesn't say hello or anything welcoming at all. He put your order in and walks away without saying anything before you're even done paying. I tried to be extra nice to see if he'd budge and be polite back but that didn't work.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the size and presentation of the surf & turf fries. The shrimp were actually cooked really well. I'm impressed and would recommend this order. The clerk was curt with me but did seem very friendly to other customers. That is the only reason I'd give Los Amigos a 4 and not a 5. I would eat here again.

The food was great I had California Burrito.The cashier gave me weird vibes and a bit too friendly if you know what I mean.The service was ok.

The taco is absolutely massive. Each one has about a quarter pound of meat. The food isn't that oily and the ingredients seem fresh. Definitely a K.I.S.S

Los Amigos has been my go to casual Mexican food for decades. The food is consistently good and the order is always right. It great to see a local business survive and improve for decades !
Came here twice & got the same burrito & tastes really good! One of the best tasting tacoshop/mexican food in el cajon & santee.They do add some good amount of food as well, small place but its peacefull.Will come again.

The carne asada burrito was solid. However, i did not really like the red hot sauce. It had an odd initial taste to me and was not spicy at all.

Los Amigos has been a go to for my family for many years. Hands down the Best Mexican Fast Food place around. My husband loves the two beef taco plate from there and I think they make the best breakfast burritos ever. They have the bacon really crispy with none of the fatty nasty parts and the perfect amount of everything else. Their salsas are the bomb! Our sons loves their Cali Burrito and their rolled tacos!
