This place is legit! Mexican food in San Diego is something special to start with, this place does not disappoint. Take a seat and order a margarita first. It's one of the places where I know I can order a house Rita and be happy with it. But the food is why I'm there. It's not often I can get great food and margarita, this places breaks that rule wide open. I love their red enchilada sauce, especially on a wet burrito. Marita's, I'll see you next week!!!

Great food. Wonderful service. Love this place. Had my birthday party here with friends. Guitar player was wonderful. Played happy birthday and other songs. I had the Marieta's omelette. So much food. An excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Best place in SD for Mexican food. They make their food different and you can tell that it's authentic. The flavors are there and it's seasoned perfectly. By far one of the best places for carne asada and they never get an order from via delivery! We go here constantly! The El Cajon location is no bueno though so don't go there lol.

Ordered the pozole, not bad, but the salsa could use some work.
The food was good, but standard Mexican fare. There were specialty items on the menu, but I had a combo plate. Staff was very accommodating. They kept our water glasses full and brought extra chips and salsa when requested. Prices are reasonable, which is great given the inflation we're seeing elsewhere.

I can always count on them to have excellent chips, salsa, drinks, and shrimp al mojo de ajo. So delicious. My husband's choice is the chili Colorado plate.

This is a place that I haven't been in years, but it was recommended by friends that I returned. It's a cute location that is decorated in a Mexican theme, which is very appropriate. They have a gentleman that goes around with his guitar and plays Mexican songs. He's very good. We got the two taco combo to split. One was Carne Asada and one was Barbacoa. We also split a chimichanga. The Carne Asada was very good. The Barbacoa had big hunks of me. It was a little bit more dry than I'm used to, but I think was more authentic than I'm used to. The chimichanga was very good. Beans and rice. Also good. Service was, very nice. They were busy, but the servers were attentive. And we got in and out of there pretty quickly.
