This place has ruined me for other sushi spots. By far the best service and sushi in town!

If there was a 0 star I’d leave it. Expect to get food poisoning from this place. There is no sanitary methods being used. The fish is kept way too warm. I can’t believe this place is still allowed to be open.

So first of all, the food here is mediocre at best. The staff is great except for one person. I don't know if he is the manager or owner but he is super unprofessional with his staff. I have seen him yell at his staff 2 times now in front of customers. I wouldn't be surprised if his staff just up and walked out on him. I think we need to find a new sushi place

The Mango Calamari was disgusting, not enough mango and it was poorly fried calamari and way to much lemon. I couldn't finish it. I also ordered a oyster shooter that tasted sour. I have eaten here many times before and the oyster shooters have been better. The service was very slow, they only have 4 tables including my own and they took over 30 min for a salad and oyster shooter. I'm disappointed it was my go-to for sushi in Santee and i will not be going back here.

Fresh fish ! Good service ! The reason for 4 stars is it kinda pricey. Sadly. I do go to another local sushi place more because the prices out beats Tabu's . Portion sizes are fair but still not as big portions as my other local sushi place. Fish is fresh no disappointment but I can go to my other place with fresh fish too

I work right around the corner and LOVE the McGuire roll and the ceviche roll. SOOOOOO good for being no rice rolls. Highly recommend both. Definately going to keep coming back here for lunch

i came in to order some sushi & get a drink at the bar & the guy who's behind the bar karam is his name is believe couldn't even get a word into him because all he does is flirt & inappropriately touch his servers & customers. ignored me completely when i was trying to order my drink & sushi roll never had the chance to so i just left. hasn't been the first time all i see this weirdo do is make women feel uncomfortable like why is he at the bar if he isn't gonna do his job.

I had a synergy gift card, so we decided to try this place out. I am so happy we did!!! It's hard to find a good sushi place that also does bomb ramen! We had the gyoza, tonkatsu ramen, tuna seaweed salad, shrimp tempura roll and chicken yakisoba. Everything was absolutely amazing. I am happy that they were able to accommodate my diet by making my roll without rice.Kid-friendliness: They had lemonade and kids dishes that my daughter enjoyed.
