The wait, quality of food, and experience has left much to desire. I’m not sure if it was just because it was extremely busy and they appeared short staff, but the food wasn’t good. The oil probably needed to be changed and with proper staffing the food could have been prepared better. Additionally, while we waited for our to-go order, they lost three customers in line and countless on the phone that never stopped ringing. People were very mad. Even when we walked in, two people had just ordered a small meal. They didn’t get their food until after 20 minutes. We waited 40 minutes. My family and I don’t plan on returning.

Like bowling alley food. Pretty gross but at least didn't make me sick yet - probably because everything I ate was deep-fried. Looks like all the food was cooked in the same, old dark oil, so that everything was a similar burnt-oil color with muddled flavor so that you taste the oil more than the food. I had the fish and shrimp combo with onion rings and okra, and it all tasted more or less the same and all had the same dark color. Trapped puddles of oil in the onion rings and fish. Also paid a significant amount of money. Clearly a restaurant that has minimal interest in improving judging from the dim lighting, non-functioning arcade games and old furniture and decor.

Great fried rice! My Hubby loves the chicken. Tender and real. It isn't spongy/tough like most place. The onion rings were perfect! Reasonable prices! I usually get take out since I'm stopping after work but they do have a quaint sitting area!

Man, do they know how to make fried chicken! If you want fresh, crispy, tasty fried chicken, do not miss this place. Their batter is very light so you are tasting the chicken with enough crunch and flavor to enhance the taste. Their fries and mashed potatoes are good, especially with their gravy, which is so flavorful. I haven't had all their other offerings yet, but I will. I'll be coming back soon, for sure!

Better than any fried chicken chain. Not for everyone, but we love the fried hearts and gizzards. They don’t make home. Yum YumGood fried shrimp and fish. Wish they served green beans.

Tried with hubs for the first time. We brought home mixed fried chicken with bone pieces along with the potatoes/gravy and cole slaw. The chicken was hot, crispy, and very moist but it totally lacked any seasoning, even salt!!! So bland!!! The mashed potatoes and gravy were rehydrated and we threw them away - awful! The cole slaw was very good. We will try it again and just hope that maybe seasonings in the coating might happen, at the very least SALT.
