I LOVE Saylor's for yummy carnitas tacos, the perfectly made, thin chips and great salsa. The staff is all very nice. I think it's fun to sit in the tiny bar area, but the main restaurant is also nice when you want a calmer eating environment. Cheers!

I just had a very bad incident with the Saylor maitre d. I am African American and an attorney. I can only conclude that this incident racially motivated. My wife asked for a different table in near empty restaurant @ 4:00 pm. This guy went into a very rude and aggressive tirade. We conveniently left avoiding an incident. I am sure Saylor is a safe and wonderful place for Caucasian's. It was my first and last time attending . I encourage the residents of Sausalito and whatever tribunal you have that addresses racial equity to take a close look at this establishment. For the sake of racial harmony, in a very racially divided society I pray for a remedy. However, I will never step near the establishment again.

An extremely rude encounter with the person seating us. We requested a different table than the one he was seating us at because it was right next to the door on a rainy cold day. The room was entirely empty and we were told all of the other tables were reserved. Then received a very hostile reaction when questioning the logic behind our reservation vs. the ones that has yet to arrive. I will never patronize this establishment and wouldn't recommend anyone else to!

I live a couple blocks from this joint and although it's not the first place that comes to my mind if I was asked what my favorite Mexican restaurant is, the truth is--I love their beef taquitos and they definitely have the best chips and salsa in the Bay Area!

Good and drinks are very good! Great jalapeno margaritas!! The staff is friendly! Perfect for groups especially if you can get the private room upstairs.

Cabo prawns are so delicious! I've had them twice and both times they were perfectly prepared. The sauce is so good!

Went here when we were absolutely starving, and the portion sizes did not disappoint! We both got enchiladas and an extra side of guacamole (half eaten in the photo). It also comes with unlimited chips and salsa. Everything tasted great, the staff were really friendly and the food came quick.

How did I never know about Saylor's??? I met a pal after work this week and was really impressed with the friendly staff, generous serving of delicious food and drinks. We had crunchy tacos, stuffed with beef and all the fixings. The guacamole was perfect. Our curiousity about the Joe's fries did not disappoint. Loaded with cheese, beef and chipolte spices it was tasty... a nice mix of sweet and spicy. Service was fast, water was always topped off. Dishes taken as we proceeded through our meals. Convenient parking in the back and spirited local Sausalito folk. Game on TV.
