I popped in here to kill an hour or two. I got a warm welcome and excellent service from June and Kayse. Grabbed a coffee and steak/eggs. It was $5 for the food and 3 or 4 for the coffee, which I could refill. Please come here instead of Starbucks. It's better. Hope this place knows how great and friendly their workers are. Great food! I was able to charge my phone and read a book.
I've been wanting to make a stop nearly a decade ago, and also during the pandemic. Finally, I stopped by for a cup of hot mocha, banana bread, and round croissant bread. Scotts Valley is always beautiful no matter how you view it. Excellent staffers. Surprisingly, their pastry selections were huge! Mainly American baked goodies, cookies, cakes, muffins, breads, etc. You'll find something you want. Everything can be seen over the counter. Size of pastries were generous. Had to wait a little. But I was in no rush. I got the mile high bagel sandwich, blueberry muffin, and latte. Everything was delicious. The sandwich looks small, but it was super filling. The bagel tasted like it was freshly made. It was soft and airy and nicely toasted. Very delicious! It's definitely worth the wait. Love to support local cafes.
