Been coming here to get quality food since the 80s

Fun Sushi bar scene, but also capable of authentic, traditional Èdomaè Sushi. ? Nice selection of ultra premium Sakè (sah keh) to pair perfectly with high end Japanese cuisine. Sushi chefs are actually from Japan so you know you're getting the "Real McCoy".Of course, Koi will also make "American" Sushi rolls using mayo, sriracha, "eel sauce", Tempura flakes all at once if so desired for the uninitiated. Park in their own parking lot or street parking.

On 2/9Friday, a friend who lives nearby invited me, who is Japanese, to the restaurant as he had been there several times. The food is at the lowest level, just like fake Japanese food from the 1980s. What's even worse is the service, which is as bad as a so-called Japanese chain izakaya: sloppy, careless, unfriendly, and sloppy. Of course, there are no Japanese people here, and they display filthy swearing and filth. I'm sorry, but as someone who has lived in Europe and America for over 30 years, I know that there are more and more Japanese restaurants overseas these days that are better. There is a lot of ignorance in the rural towns around here, and it seems like they waste money. People who like Japanese people, Japanese food, and sushi should avoid this place. I don't want to be racist, but I assure you that if it was run by Japanese people, it wouldn't be this bad. I promised to take my friend to a decent Japanese restaurant.

I came to the store after seeing it introduced on Japanese TV. The free parking lot is large and easy to park.I ate at the counter, and the chefs were very efficient and I enjoyed conversation with them. They seem to be particular about how they purchase their food from Japan, so it's extremely fresh. The yellowtail and blue fish had so much fat that you couldn't believe they were fish. The tempura and matsutake mushroom soup were freshly made and had a great flavor. Every item is completely shrewd. It was better than eating at a regular sushi restaurant in Japan. There are many types of sake, and just drinking alcohol is enough. Also, you can order with confidence as we only carry delicious alcoholic beverages. It is well worth coming from overseas.

The only thing difficult here was to decide what to order. Albacore is my go-to for an appetizer, and it was delicious. I ordered the sashimi dinner and loved everything except the red Tuna. Portion size of the salad was very generous. Not pictured is the Miso soup, standard and tasty. Great dining experience, food was wonderful, and we will definitely return.

I was impressed by the attention to detail of the Japanese server. The highest level of service you can experience overseas. The sushi toppings were also of a very high standard, and some of the izakaya appetizers were a bit salty. Totally recommended store, especially the service is excellent.Parking: You can find it without any problem.

Great service & food! However, I ordered chicken teriyaki and received a poached piece of chicken. I had it sent back and ordered salmon, which was more appetizing.
