We enjoyed this place. The garlic edamame were great. The miso black cod was great. The other two rolls were ok. We probably would have picked different sauces. Fresh fish, good portions, good service. We'd come back.

Top notch tasty menu selections and service. Warm, friendly staff will offer suggestions. A wonderful restaurant addition to Main Street, Seal Beach.

Amazingly fresh - great service, crazy that only 1 sushi chef can service the entire place...and turn orders around so fast!!

Went strolling around Seal Beach and decided to find a place to eat. The place looked clean, quiet and inviting so we dined here for lunch. We were greeted with friendly smiles. We sat near the window where you can see people walk by and still be feeling privately seated. I had the salmon teriyaki. It came with salad and miso soup. The salmon's cooked perfectly. Crunchy skin, moist salmon and flavored just right. The salad, though small, was dressed appropriately. The salad dressing very yummy. The miso soup with tofu and seaweed was spot on. Truly not from a packet. My partner ordered the yaki soba. Very reminiscent of our tours in Japan. Brought us back to the little shops of Tokyo. Ate here without the guidance of Yelp and luckily, when I checked on the reviews here, it had five stars. We chose great!

Food was very good as well as the service. Left very pleased with the customer service and the kindness of everyone. Such a beautiful vibe going throughout the whole restaurant. Definitely recommend going!

Sushi is very fresh! We loved the different tempera rolls with creative names. Overall a great new place to eat by the beach

Decent food, slow service considering the amount of staff and the size of the restaurant. Every item sort of came out one by one meaning an order for chirashi came out, then significantly later came out sushi order then again significantly later our sushi combo order came out. These orders were all for different people. Also for the price it feels like everything is rather cheap feeling? The plates and bowls are all plastic it feels like I'm at a really cheap lunch spot. Considering there are other sushi restaurants in the same area that are above this in quality and speed it is a hard sell to return.

Wonderful place. The sushi looks wonderful, but I highly recommend the chicken kariage and the salmon and avocado salad, that's what I got.

Food is good, with basic traditional sushi fare and the fish is pretty fresh. They're still getting their feet under them as they can't handle crowds yet, but the folks are very nice. Ambiance is small-town nice with a sushi bar and dining area as well. I keep going back as I don't have to walk all the way through town and across PCH now for a simple sushi meal when I don't want to walk far or don't want something fancy. It's great for that quick snack too.

The quality of fish is simply phenomenal. Every dish I’ve had is truly among the best sushi I’ve ever had. Service is very personable. You are greeted by the staff when you enter and when you leave. The bluefin otoro was immaculate.

Modern and small sushi restaurant on Main Street of Seal Beach. They have a sushi bar and about 10 tables. We went on Wednesday night at 7pm without a reservation for 6ppl. Server and busser were very busy but overall we got our food after a slow start and were happy overall. We all had a nice dinner. They offer sake/beer and wine.

Happened upon this place while in Seal Beach for the evening and it was SO YUMMY. So good that it actually rivals my favorite sushi spot in my town in the Bay Area. :) We loved all the sushi we ordered (and the miso soup), and everyone working there was so kind! Great service! Will definitely go back if I'm in Seal Beach again.

A cute little sushi spot in Seal Beach... I took my work peeps out for dinner at 7PM on a Wednesday evening, there were six of us. I think we overwhelmed the already busy restaurant. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry as service was slow due to a packed house. The sushi was good and once we got everything ordered, it came out at a nice pace. Overall, I thought the service was friendly and food good. I'll return again - not with six people unannounced, however. My bad... 4 stars
