This is a smaller sized Whole Foods so there is a more limited selection, especially in prepared foods. The meat and fish are excellent. The bone in rib eye was cheaper then Safeway down the street!

Ran in to Whole Foods to get Anniversary's dinner "party" ! It was Labor Day weekend, one of the busiest three day holidays of the year and end of summer. A family member was married Labor Day Saturday, 2019 and we were in a very festive mood for an impromtu 1st Anniversary Wedding Party with our little bubble of 8 people. Whole Foods have quality groceries most of the other cities. However, the Sebastapol Whole Foods is nice but is not as complete compared to its sister locations. I guess it's because it's SMALL.Very disappointed the deli and bakery did not have needed dinner party items-- no on premise baked cakes such as the Berry Chantilly, Chocolate Eruption, Tiramasu and such. No fruit tarts, cheesecakes... Nada! That was ok, but when I asked about party platters, they informed me that they do not make it. I was dumbfounded since I see it online. Maybe the staff doesn't realize that Whole Foods online has catering? All in all, the whole foods in Sebastapol carries wonderful produce and other groceries. However it is not the same level of inventory or selection on certain items as their other locations.

Today I shopped at Whole Foods and shopped at the deli. Edye helped me. We had selected a Paleo chicken breast together. I wanted something to go with it and the Kale Salad was looking tasty but it had parmesan cheese as an ingredient. I told her that I would take just a little because I have a food allergy to dairy. She when to spoon me a small amount and she stopped herself and said to me, "Do you have a few minutes? I want to make you a small amount without cheese." Lately is has bee emotionally and physically painful to go grocery shopping and it just hasn't been a good experience at all. Thirty minutes before I'd had a bad experience with the checker at Trader Joes on Cleveland Avenue and Edye made my day. Thank you Edye for you kind service today. I did call your deli manager over and I told him about the service you provided me. Also, I like to recognize Bob up front for always being the best, coolest dude.

Hey guys, you are all awesome. I was there around 6pm and I saw ALL of you wearing masks( so was I). BUT at the register this younger woman - a customer- was chatting away with the cashier( who did have a mask) as if nothing had changed in this new world, WITHOUT a mask - NADA. Also, a younger still (20s?) man in the veggie area sauntering without any protection( for himself or the rest of us). Well, it is now required by our sheriff that we do wear a mask when in public. Can Whole Foods ( and everybody else) ask customers to wear a mask in their store please? Let's keep Sonoma county healthy please!

It's a decent Whole Foods! What I love most about this store is how reliable it is. The produce is always fresh, the vibe is always chill :), and it's relatively clean and orderly. Prices are more expensive than other grocery stores in Sebastopol, but the healthier food is worth it. What's more, they tend to source from organic and local places -- which is awesome! Also, if you ask at one of the nearby meat/deli counters, you can sample their soups which tend to be really delicious. Especially their turkey chili. The store itself is small, but tends to be well-stocked with variety in most products. If you have doubts -- just give it a try!

Went to WFM yesterday. I felt totally safe and comfortable there. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive--especially under these trying times when emotions run high on both sides of the counter. The shelves were well stocked and people in the aisles courteous and polite. Carts being cleaned and monitored. Some customers with gloves and masks most staff gloved. So far there doesn't seem to be any news of increased cases in market staff which is re-assuring to me because they seem to be in a pretty high risk environment. Thank you to all working there. Keep up the good work!

It's pretty small and tight in this Whole Foods, but predictable. Being from out of town, it was nice to walk in and already know I'd find what I needed.

Many great experiences at this store. Although Whole Foods is a national chain and now owned by Amazon this store is still distinctly "Sebastopol".

This location's selection has become more generic and less interesting as time goes on. I'm often disappointed to find that they have stopped carrying something that I have really liked in favor of products from larger companies, or products which are less interesting but may have more widespread appeal. For a store with such limited space and selection, why devote an entire aisle to wine (we all know the answer)? I know that the stores size limits options, but they could do a lot more with what they have. UPDATE: even worse after merger with amazon. So generic, has completely lost the local charm that made such a small store tolerable. Almost no organic foods used in food bar, tons of conventional produce, and still poor grocery choices in general. Community market is a much nicer place to shop. Two stars because they have some great people working there

They have nice selections and prompt service. Fill out the order and off they go. Nothing unique or special but consistent OK, good sandwiches. They have you pay before picking up your order.

Whole foods is pricey and it is good. The produce and products are extensive. The affiliation with Amazon has added discounts and delivery.

I'm new to the area and stopped here on a Tuesday, around 6pm. It's been a few years since I lived close to a WF's and I wasn't familiar with the Amazon Prime relationship. I asked an employee who was bagging, Casey, if he could explain it to me. He was very pleasant and asked me to step to the customer service counter so he can explain it. He helped me download the WF app and walked me through the simple process of linking my Amazon Prime account. He explained the benefits etc. What a friendly and helpful guy! First rate service. The man in Meat Dept was also quite helpful and accommodating. I wish I remembered his unique name. There is a lot of seating if you want to sit and eat your hot or salad bar food. There's also wifi. I bought the pull pork and mac n cheese from the hot bar and it was excellent. With the discounts that I received purchasing items on sale with Amazon the sticker shock was less than anticipated. I noticed others complained about the store being crowded. To me this points to the fact that the store is a smaller WF's building, but it is a favorite of the locals. It seemed to me a lot of the local options, like milk, were a better price than at other stores in the area. I recently shopped at a large chain grocery store in Sebastopol and the customer service was absolutely terrible. This was a breath of fresh air.

Before it became an Amazon store, we rarely went to the local store. Now that they are Amazon, just stopping by for the specials makes it worthwhile.
