The food here is always good and we are going here tonight! Well prepared from fresh ingredients and wonderful flavors. A beautiful mixture of Indian and Nepali cuisines. And the chai is excellent!

I got the chicken Tika masala and the chana masala with a side of garlic Nan. Everything was really good except the rice was a little mushy & I wish they served basmati rice instead of white rice. Over all great flavor :)

I used to love this place. Absolutely adored the owner and the food. Since ownership changed the dishes are acceptable but not close to what they were, and the portion sizes have shrunk. The to-go containers are laughably minuscule. They handed me a lunch-sized brown paper bag with dinner for my family. I said, "I think that's the wrong order," but no, they had fit multiple $23-ish entrees, rice and nan into a tiny bag because - tiny containers. It's insulting. Everything is insulting these days. You get crap, for too much money, and angry servers demand 25% more or you're the ahole. California needs to shape up and so does Himalayan Tandoori.

Clearly this place has a new owner and the entire menu was changed. Not going

Delicious food, great service, and again DELICIOUS FOOD. Stopping here is a must if you love authentic nepalese cuisine! ?Also I did see some reviews about it being pricey. I totally disagree. You get a lot for what you pay.I selected the Chicken Tiki Masala at I believe around $20 and that came with soup and my choice of brown or white rice. I also ordered a side of naan at maybe $4-$5 and there was more than enough leftover to have for dinner later on. You get more than what you pay for is all I’m saying, given the quality and quantity of food served. All in all it was about $20-$30 per person with a drink.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients and wonderful staff. Plus, we love supporting family-owned businesses. Can't wait to come back and try the whole menu!

The food is consistently excellent, as is the service. Highly, highly recommend. Faves are chicken palak, lamb biryani, and momos.

On a recent road trip up north I chanced upon this restaurant. Got good reviews so I needed to try it for something different. I even had my husband explore a different kind of dish. We tried the Garlic pesto Naan chicken Tandoori and Lamb Curry everything was delicious.... I should have taken an after picture as we finished everything on our plate. Food and service was amazing..... I instantly hit it off with Ruth who is the daughter of the owner. I would have to make another 9 hour trip to see her and eat again at their restaurant. The reviews live up to and more with this restaurant..... definitely a must try! If you're local .... lucky for you.

what a perfect meal for a colder/rainy day.ordered the lunch special: Goat curry, comes with rice and lentil soup. we had the choice of mild and spicy. We opt for spicy, but it was still pretty mild. Turns out we should asked for Nepalese spicy if I want some serious heat! Thank you for the suggestion Ruth! The garlic naan, soooo fluffy. They are perfectly delicious on its own but definitely a game changer to pair it with the curry!Had the Lamb Tandoori, just like other dishes, chef's kiss. It was tender and full of flavor. yummmm.there are other drinks on the menu, both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. but i think mango lassi is THE drink to get! you wont regret it. I didn't even i am lactose intolerant.service was great! And we are coming back for sure.

My favorite place to dine. I feel like family!! Seriously the best family run restaurant. Their food is delicious. Always fresh! I'm so happy to have stumbled upon this place. I find myself here a few times a month! Highly recommended for vegetarians the palak paneer and okra curry are my favorites. I absolutely love their naan it's thinner than most and not full of baking soda. Don't forget the Chai! Oh ...and samosa chatt!

Tried this place during a weekend visit from bay area. Both the food and service were simply amazing and the Palak Paneer was the best we've had in a long time!

The food is pretty average, truth be told. The service is a little below average but adequate. The atmosphere is casual dining. As a heads-up, they have a 10% service charge in addition to the tip.Overall, it's slightly below average, but a decent place for a casual dinner with friends.
