Horse and Plow continues to be one of the most fun, inventive, and enjoyable local tasting rooms. The venue is a great-looking, easy-access spot. They have artist receptions, live music weekends, and even occasional theatre or other creative events. They serve their own artisanal ciders (very good) and wines (also good.) Had such a nice tasting at Horse and Plow! We had our choice to sit anywhere we liked. While the outside is GORGEOUS, it was a little cold so we sat in the back room where they had couches and a table for larger groups! For $25 you get to taste 4 wines, and for $18 we added on a cheese plate. It was on the pricier side for a tasting (and no fee waived if you buy bottles), but it was really nice and a great location. The best, family-friendly winery. Beautiful outside seating area under beautiful trees, a walk through garden with chickens. The wood cabin tasting room is decently decorated with local art work. Not a snobby winery as many are. April through October, there is weekly live music from local groups. They also have the best cider in the area.
