Great place for a fresh lunch. Outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful weather! Banh Mi with meatballs was so so GOOD! Also had a Thai tea, yum! Will definitely be back!

Great little place for delicious pan-asian food! Don't be fooled by its food shack aesthetic; it's not a fast service place! They really take their time to prepare your food but the wait is well worth it. Highly recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee if you're looking for not-your-average cup of joe for the morning. Also their breakfast sandwich is so much better than others you can get for the same price at Starbucks etc.

Joy Bungalow in Sebastopol is only open on Sunday mornings during the Farmer's Market, but it's worth the wait! The porridge is delicious, and I love the bahn mi and the Satay sandwiches. They always use fresh bread which makes it really tasty. Order at the window and eat at the outdoor tables.

August 2023 2.5 I'd say. Interesting to check out but wait times can be pretty long. Farmers market was going on nearby and we had a day watching boats crawl ahead so I got some veggie food to go along our way out. I had ordered Jok, a breakfast sandwich, and a Bungalow salad with tofu. The food takes quite a while between ordering at the counter front and with a number of people getting phone and online orders as well. The jok was interesting. The sauce reminds me of an asian bbq sauce thrown on top. Mixing it in tasted better but not my cup of tea. Not traditional, but worth checking out since it isn't really anywhere else. The breakfast sandwich was just a hodge podge fusion with most of the flavor coming from the chinese sausage. The thai sauce felt non existent and there wasn't anything else to bind it together. Definitely not something you want to let sit also since chinese sausage gets pretty hard to chew through if it gets cold. The salad was a complete miss in my book. Cabbage was thick in portions and hard to chew through, the sauce just sat at the bottom and wasn't enough to mix, the tofu had decent flavor but was chewy. I'd suggest just having the sauce on the side if that's even an option. Probably fills a niche for some things since options for a few of the menu items are slim to none in the county.

I've eaten here several times and it was good and fresh. Today they tried to charge me more than was listed on the menu. Isn't this illegal? The staff was pretty hostile and 'out of it'. Outdoor seating is dirty and gros.

Came here after the farmers market. Had the nutty noods without any protein. Plenty of veggies. Rice noodles were nice. The peanut sauce was decent. Thick. Price was ok. Just wasn't anything wow to report. Other reviewers have said the bahn mi was no good so I won't try. No sure if I'll return.

The Bahn mi is delicious depending on the protein you add. I ordered one with soft boiled egg which was delicious. Next visit I ordered Bahn mi with pork but was too tough to bite through. Noodles were yummy, too.

The flavors are phenomenal! The curry fries are especially delicious! A fun dining experience!

Food is Divine, service is divine in fact I only took one star off atmosphere because Petaluma Blvd goes right past and people love their big engines. But when you go, get their Bahn mi's if nothing else. They. Are. Heaven

Cons: this is hipster banh mi and, relative to banh mi served at places run by Vietnamese families, it's expensive, slow, the bread is a bit soft, carrots weren't pickled, the sauce has a bit too much mayonnaise and not enough seasoning, and the pork is thicker cut and a bit fatty.Pros: the banh mi is still pretty tasty and the people running things and serving customers are, in my experience, very nice and professional and organized.Banh mi is the only thing I've had there, but they also do noodles and skewers in similar "Asian" style. They also do fancy hipster coffee and other drinks. There are vegetarian options of everything. Jam's is a food stand that does only takeaway, so there is no "ambiance" or even seats. There are some nearby park picnic tables and benches.

The food is literally out of this world! Nothing like it! The banh mi is my fav! And the owner Jam is such a down to earth chick!
