Where's the crust? One of the most overlooked parts of a slice of pizza is the crust. Always nice to finish off with those airy chewy bites. As of lately and the last several times I've been to Mombos, someone is skirting. The crust is almost negligible. Pizza goes right up to the edge. Bring back the crust, an integral part of a slice of pizza and the part that you like to hold onto! No crust = no go. Come on Mombos! What's the deal??

I was back and forth between 3 and 4 on this but talked myself into the 3 the more I thought. As a caveat, I ordered on a Friday night and it happened to be National Pizza Day, so they were very busy and I did do pick up. The good, the remodel looks great, the place is super clean and looks great. The service I received was also great. The Bad, I ordered ahead and was told 30-40 mins. when I showed up it wasn't ready and ended up being just over an hour from the original time I called. I get it, you're busy it's Friday, it's forgivable. When they handed me the pipping hot pizza straight out of the oven, they offered me cheese and peppers which I always accept, so they took a big handfull and shoved it between the lid and the top of the box. Unfortunately that little move let in a lot of cold air and in the 15 mins to get home. I would have never thought that would be an issue... but the more you know. Lastly, yes I have little ones, so i didn't get the most exciting pizza half cheese half Hawain. But boy I just found the taste boring. The dough was fine, it probably could have cooked longer, but not much flavor. There either wasnt enough sauce or the sauce had little flavor. I dont think I have ever put salt on a pizza but it did need the wake up. I am not saying I wont go back, I like supporting local business, and more and more local places are closing. Give it a shot, mistakes/misses happen. Even the best baseball players get out 7/10 at bats!

Prices reasonably, especially on specials (every Tuesday).Vegetarian options: Any meatless pizza; quite a selection.Parking: Not always available immediately in front of store, but never more than short walk at most.Wheelchair accessibility: In Pacific Market shopping center, all chair accessible.

Mombo's is delicious! I love several of their combos particularly with ricotta. Pizza is closer to NY style and has a thinner crust. They sell pizza by the slice which is a great easy to-go option in town. Small seating areas both inside and out. My only complaint is that the pizza is always a longer wait than other spots in town and consistently late. So if they say 20min it will be 30. But overall a great local spot for a slice!

Not what it was I'm sorry to say. Has become a flat bread pizza, not thin crust. My second try since I noticed the difference a while ago. Too bad, their old crust and slices were very much "New York". Not anymore unfortunately. People nice, sauce and cheese ? are good. But definitely a difference in crusts and weight of pizza. Ordered a whole pie.

I'm basically a regular at mombos so I will say they have good days and bad days. Unfortunately for me they seem to have more bad days than good. The pizza and everything always looks great but sometimes it's too greasy (like you can spoon the grease off greasy) or stale. The service is always good and they workers make it hard to not want to tip. However they don't wear gloves or really tie the hair back which is a little off putting. The mombos recently was "renovated" and has more of an open feel yet still feels a little cluttered.

I’m all about thin crust pizza. I grabbed a couple of slices to go and they had great flavor. Slices hot out of the oven don’t sit very long which is always a good sign. I’ll definitely be back

Went in to redeem my birthday treat. They were super busy. I am a first responder and was on duty, I got a call, and my order had to be canceled. Due to redeeming the birthday treat, I lost the gift. The manager and the owner came through and gave me a gift card to make it up. 5 star service. Thank
