We love the pasta at Portico! Freshly made, perfectly cooked. The pesto (not on themenu, but often available) and the Bolognese are our favorites. We always start with the vegetarian antipasto with its warm artichoke dip and grilled veggies. The owners and staff are welcoming. The Best!!
I don't know... if you give Portico a low rating it was probably an unusually bad day or maybe you need your head checked.It is a small place, the service can be aloof (in a charmingly European way), but considering price to enjoyment ratio... this place is in rarefied, Northbay company.What's good here? We loved our meal. We have many food restrictions and everyone was quite gracious. Not only was the food - eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi, tomato cream pasta - delicious, the atmosphere was homey and welcoming. A bit pricy, but everything was fresh and made from scratch.
