I was actually surprised! Had a great time. Look I'm at the age where I'm not trying to be at a dive bar with old guys all the time but also I'm not 22 raging in Hollywood.... This was a fun club like (ish) vibe. But it was people my age (30's) some younger but mostly my age. DJ was great. Even handed out glow sticks hahaha... so I got to dance and mingle and felt comfortable. Nice little (and it is very small) venue.

This is my first time here at this place, I didn't plan on performing, but I see I could have because it was open mic, about 7 people went out before I did , when it was my turn to do a spoken word I did not get the respect that everybody else got, the bartender came all the way from the bar to try to turn the TV off I ended up messing up but kept going thumbs down where's my respect this place will one day wish and hope that they did not do this to me I'm a great a great writer one of the best this was way not cool they needed to hear what I had to say

came in as an inspector , the stud asked for my ig I guess that's proper. the owner is not the nicest if you have nothing to add . I had to lie about my occupation to see his reaction and it wasn't pleasant.he is not genuine ,they play African music but it's all an attraction. the owner is not the nicest.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Terrible management from Brian or Bryan however you spell his name and they don't like to pay their employees. Multiple people have not been paid and they want to act like they don't know anything. Their Bartender who I'm sure doesn't even have a bartending license Shannon Pierce posted a review so don't be fooled, he can not be trusted. This place needs to be shut down.

I like how they redid the place. It is more dance-friendly with the current layout. The lighting and decor is urban chic. You can draw on the blackboard walls with chalk. There's a cute little patio outside for fresh air, and there's a dartboard inside. The DJ was awesome - we were dancing as soon as we came in. The bartender was super nice and made us drinks from scratch based upon whatever flavor we were craving. There weren't a lot of people despite it being 11pm on a Friday night, but I figured that people just don't know enough about this spot. My two complaints are 1) please stop playing soft porn on the video screens. I came with my girlfriends and felt objectified. There's plenty of video footage out there that is sexy without needing to show naked girls. Or if you're gonna show the naked girls, we demand equal footage of naked guys! And 2) be careful where you park because the signs say no parking between 8pm and midnight along Van Nuys Blvd. I definitely will be back for salsa night.

I'm sad to see the reviews because I've had nothing but good vibes within the last few times within the last few months of going here. Bartenders are nice... Drinks on the house occasionally and live the vibe. It's a smaller venue plenty of parking. And they even have a Bachata and salsa night that's perfect for beginners since it's a smaller venue. I'm going tonight because I like the vibe everyone is very friendly but maybe that's because I go on the dancing nights..
We use to come here pre pandemic and even a few times after the pandemic when they were requiring vaccinations. This place was always fun and lively. The drinks were affordable and the music was really good.We decided to come again after not going for a while on the Friday before Halloween. We got there semi early to make it in time for happy hour. However it was 10PM and the place was still EMPTY AND DEAD. We found it odd but still very much tried to enjoy the night. The bartenders were cool and fun and they gave us some drinks "on the house".I checked my account and it was charged double for what I actually got. When I asked for the receipt I was ignored and I blamed it on the loud music not thinking much of it. After reading the reviews now I know why it was empty.Really sad what this place has come to. We gave it the benefit of the doubt only to be over charged.

Not a bad place. Just wish they had DJs who played something else besides hip hop and commercial bs. They had happy hour pretty much all night which was nice.

This place has really turned around. They have amazing drinks and the hottest bartenders on the weekends. Also, the drink prices are dope and everyone behind the bar gets it. Oh, and they have darts and corn hole coming in by the end of the week, followed possibly by Arcade Games.
