Such a gem! A hole in the wall but the food is so affordable and delicious! I had the teriyaki chicken burger and it was so good. The service was good too, the food came out so fast and the fries were hot, crispy and seasoned. I have a new lunch spot to throw into the rotation!!

Combo Plate #4 with Beef and chicken was great. Lean meat cooked well done on top of rice, 2 dumplings, an orange slice and a small salad ?

Good chicken teriyaki. Had the #1 combo. Huge portion. Salad was tasty. Didn't like the gyoza but I only like vegetable gyoza anyway so everyone else will probably like it. Nice staff, fast service.

Golden Burger is right in my neighborhood. I was surprised to see how many good reviews there were on Google so I thought I'd give it a try again. The Beef & Chicken Teriyaki plate was enough for 3 meals for me.

Always consistent food and service. They make the food so fast and with excellent quality. A real local spot- all the locals know that this is a great spot to go to. The food is great. Highly recommend.

Completely forgot about this place until yesterday.. which is quite unfortunate considering how good this spot is. I first ate here over a decade ago when I was in high school. It was affordable, had great quality food and was a nice change up from the chain restaurants - this is still true. I was greeted immediately and I knew it was still the same owner as she confirmed how long she'd been there. Again, with In n Out being within eyesight in the same plaza, a restaurant that (still) serves burgers and fries is doing something right. (While I personally haven't tried their burgers, other customers ordered it as I was waiting). But, I'll say this off top - their chicken Teriyaki is WAY better than the chains like Flame Broiler. I always came for the Chicken Teriyaki plates or bowls depending on how hungry I was.. and always ordered some fries too. Their fries are thick cut, perfectly crispy and fluffy inside, with some Cajun seasoning.. again, I hate to compare but I say their fries are on par with the competition if not more consistent. GET THEIR FRIES! I got the #1, a Chicken Teriyaki Plate that comes with white rice cooked exactly how it should be cooked, chopped chicken that is good quality and has grill marks/flavor (no stringy cheap chicken here), Teriyaki sauce, 2 dumplings and a small side salad. For $11.99, it's a large amount of high quality food. GET THIS! It's tucked away towards the end of the strip mall (at the other end of the liquor store/donut shop). There's a lot of seating and tables inside. Plenty of parking but you may have to navigate thru traffic to get inside. Again, highly recommended. Support a local business!

If you like a good hole-in-the-wall as much as I do, this is the place for you. I was feeling adventurous one day and was looking for a quick lunch in the VN area. I had Gold Yaki Burger bookmarked on yelp for awhile for teriyaki and it was finally time to try it. It was everything I expected and probably a bit better even. Rice was well cooked, chicken teriyaki was good and inexpensive. The chicken was not rubbery like so many places - it was well cooked! The beef teriyaki was good too. They use thinly sliced beef. You can add vegetables for an extra charge and the veggies are your basic teriyaki bowl mix of carrots, cabbage and I think broccoli if I remember correctly. Good stuff! I'll note that every time I've gone there (3 so far), I've dined in. Each time, there were regulars who have come in while I'm there. They have a diverse customer base of all ethnicities including Spanish-speakers (there's a line cook who chats with them sometimes), Korean-speakers, young, old, white, Asian, Hispanic...you name it! The older Korean couple that run the place are nice but leave you alone so you can enjoy your meal in peace. Love that. Pro tip: beware of the roasted jalapeños they put out. Spiciest jalapeño I've ever tried!

Wow, I'm really surprised they have 4.5 stars. The place was filthy. The bathroom was disgusting. I ordered a chicken teriyaki combo, which took about 15-minutes to make (no problem). I sat down to eat it, and the entire dish was cold, including the rice. I truly dislike being wasteful, but the food was inedible and I tossed all of it.

I had the large chicken/beef bowl with vegetables. The meal was decent, but it was pricey.
