Been wanting to try this place for a while now and i finally got the chance to. They have some vegan options such as the plain churros, Oreo and guava stuffed churro, drinks replaced with almond or soy milk but add $1, vegan ice cream scoop, and vegan milkshake. We had the plain churros and the Oreo stuffed churros. They were nice and crispy. Really pricey though. Staff were nice. Saw people just hanging out and had their laptops to work here. Noise level was average. Parking is a challenge. I found parking in a residential area in the back and walked. I didn't see a bathroom.

Came here with a group of friends. Ordered a sampler waited 25 minutes only to find out they forgot our order. No apologies. Only excuse that they were busy, which to be honest they weren't. To make it worse this was what my pregnant wife was craving. I'm never coming back here

Thanks to a quick yelp search for tea I stumbled upon this place! In the rain my friend and I parked in a near by parking garage and walked in to this charming little cafe. I loved the decor, it was like a tea party, whimsical beautiful, enchanting, fun. Such a great spot for a girls date! I ordered the house Roobios (organic ) tea and my friend had the chamomile (organic). It's a pickup from the counter type spot, pay, pick a spot to sit, they call and you can pickup at the front. Our hot tea was lovely to sip while we chatted. Being gluten free and diary free it's rare to have an exceptional dessert. We ordered the gluten free churro ice cream sandwich with coconut vegan ice cream. With a side of Nutella for $1 and it was soooo good! Came out warm and crunchy and fluffy and was just the way I remembered churros tasing. The ice cream was light and creamy too. I would order other flavors next time. But having an option was soo nice! Vegan and gluten free friendly! The cashier was friendly and I checked in on yelp while in the store and received a 15% off The teas are priced $4 a piece and the desserts are fairly well priced too. They have lattes, coffee, matcha etc. The chandeliers, cozy seats, brick wall, plants everywhere was such an inviting space. Made it feel like you were in your grandmas house for tea. Highly recommend this place for churros and anyone looking for a cute new place to explore. In the middle of Ventura Blvd it's surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars.

Ordered regular churros and stuffed churros. Both had a strong taste which I belive was old oil and was not edible.

Tried to go there on a Saturday morning for coffee. Imagine my surprise when they were closed until noon... at prime time on Saturday. Waste of time.

I went here 2 times recently and loved the coffee and dessert options! I once ordered on Postmates and was not too happy. It got soggy and hard. I understand that's not the business' fault but that's my experience. I ordered the churro sampler w dipping sauces! The customer service and the location are quite nice and enjoyable. I will definitely be eating here again!

We love this place. If you want a non traditional dessert, this is the spot. HDC offers fun takes on churros that leave you wanting more. They have a great little cafe setting where you can sit and enjoy your churros. The staff is friendly and the churros come out quick. We ordered the sampler and took it to go. We live about 10mins from HDC and they help up nicely. Great place to visit after your next meal on Ventura Blvd. There is some parking behind the building. Enjoy your churros!

Loved the vibe, food, teas & coffee.Coffee&tea shop with no bathroom.... yikes.**EDIT** (3 stars back to 5 stars)Spoke to the owner, city would not allow them to use "employee restroom" as a "customer restroom" as well from what I understood.

I think it was a 'Churro donut (sticks)', super yummy and vegan too, with Oreo sauce! I preferred to eat them separately.

Terrible service the register was rude. Terrible food. A horchata latte 6.50 when it’s the size of a pup cup at Starbucks. Over priced. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THIS PLACE WAS A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. PLEASE CHANGE THE NAME TO SAD DAYS CAFE! THIS IS JUST SAD.
