Ordered delivery and had the Salmone alla Griglia. Price was very high, but it tasted amazing! High quality and great flavor. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My compliments to the chef! I would recommend.

They've raised their prices by at least 7-11% so everything was inflated. I switched out potatoes that came with my chicken Parmesan for a side of pasta and they charged 15.00 for a tiny side dish of it with marinara. 2.50 to split a salad and 12.00 for a bowl of soup. 42.00 corkage fee. I was wondering why the restaurant was empty and i think the price gauging is the reason. Won't go back.

Their food is always delicious. Had the tricolore salad, broccoli soup, rainbow trout, the fish special, and roasted potatoes. Everything was delish except the fish special still had a lot of bones in it. Also had the mouse cake which was to die for. And their rosemary bread, amazing.

This was Valentine's Day pre fix menu . My first time there . $95 per plate before wine , tax or tip . Only 2 choices per course . My minestrone soup was acceptable but not good enough for the price . Burrata appetizer was excellent . My short ribs were just ok . My wife's pasta with mushrooms was excellent. I needed better food or a lower price when i spend $300 on one meal .

This was the first time we had been to La Cava, and it really was an enjoyable experience all around. The waiter came by our table right away and asked if we had any questions. The menus were on the table before we sat down so we had plenty of time to make our choices. Service all evening was good. The food was really go as well. My husband and I had the lasagna and two others had lamp chops. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We started with the Caesar salad which was served very cold. I love that. Everyone was too full for dessert so only ordered cappuccinos. The waiter brought on these wonderful little cookies for us to share that are house made. We will certainly go back.

Food was disappointing and not very notable or memorable. Very disappointed after reading so many good reviews. One person in our party didn't get her meal on time because her plate ended up on the floor. OK stuff happens but there was no "make good" effort on the part of management.

We were “first timers” (celebrating my husband's birthday), and La Cava is a new favorite! From the service to the food to the warm atmosphere it was a fabulous dining experience! Highly recommend, particularly to anyone from the East Coast who has a discriminating palate for amazing Italian cuisine.

Was our first time there the food was great service was excellent. Our table was set up when we got there so we had no wait . I think $42 to open a bottle of wine a little excessive. I think they should change their prices on their website because i it is more expensive than what they quote on their site. But overall very good experiene

Cava provided an amazing intimate experience for my guest and I. The food was extremely delicious and the servers were beyond helpful with their recommendations and timely service.

We look on Open Table for placec that have five stars and lots of reviews. This is how we choose new restaurants. The place itself was quiet and a lot like Italian bistros in Italy. Not fancy. But the food was very good. My husband is Italian and very picky about pasta. He can taste what kind of flour is used. Suffice it to say, the pasta and the "gravy"(what Italian-Americans call sauce) passed his highly discerning palate. I had the house Chardonnay and my husband had an Italian Pinot, which was also the house wine. They were both really good. The wait staff was superlative. We had a nice chat with both our waiter and the busboy. I recommend La Cava if you want some delicious Italian comfort food.

I've been to this restaurant 4x's and I've enjoyed ever single meal. This time around I tried the filet mignon. I will be getting it again. OMG it was sooooooo good.

Absolutely terrific meal! Great ambience -- a classic, small Italian restaurant. White table cloths, attentive service, traditional dishes and amazing specials. We started with a special salad -- artichoke and toasted walnuts -- which was fresh and full of flavor. I had the red snapper special -- with olives, roasted tomatoes -- perfectly grilled. My friend had the orecchiette with homemade fennel sausage. Also excellent.Very professional service with a sense of humor and great guidance through the menu. We're putting this on our regular rotation!
