If I want to feel indulged I go to Mistral. It's the gem of the Valley. They make you feel welcomed from the moment you step into this beautiful restaurant. Favorites are Steak au Poivre, John Dory, Roasted Salmon, Beet salad and, worth the wait, chocolate souffle. Been going here for 20+ years and has literally been 5 stars for that long. I’ve had everything on the menu, but the chocolate soufflé is everything. ✨
We were seated right away. There were bday celebrations but it wasn't too loud. I added in my reservation that we're celebrating a birthday too. But nobody acknowledged it and I forgot to remind them. We had tuna tartare, escargot, steak au poivre, pappardelle and chocolate soufflé. And a bottle of Faust cab. Everything was delicious. And servers attentive and helpful. Too bad our main server didn't introduce himself.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Mistral. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere, all staff members ensuring they maintain that. Raul always greets us with such warmth and accommodation. Henry, the owner, is equally wonderful. We always feel so well taken care of! The food is beyond delicious. If you haven't been to Mistral, you must go!!!

Had such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Henri and his staff are top notch. We were a group of 4 and everyone loved their meal. And of course the chocolate soufflé is simply the best! Highly recommend

Mistral is our favorite restaurant! We love the ambiance and the food! The service cannot be beat. We especially enjoy the house cured salmon appetizer, which is amazing, and the steaks are always consistently seasoned and cooked perfectly. The cheesecake is fantastic. We've never had a bad meal at Mistral!

We were celebrating my wife's birthday there last night, and everyone couldn't have been nicer. In full disclosure yes we are longtime regulars. However, because we moved out of the area we had not been there in several years. We were still welcomed like old friends, and they couldn't do enough for us! we were delighted that the food, as always, was superb, and their signature dish, the chicken breast with Dijon mustard sauce was as “five stars” as it ever was. Can't recommend this Sherman Oaks neighborhood gem highly enough!
Mistral never disappoints! We were there to celebrate last night and it couldn't have been better! I've never had anything bad, the fries and mustard are delicious! Everyone I have ever been with raves about the John Dory. I highly recommend the beef steak tartar and porcini pappardelle! Can't wait to go back because food and service are top notch!
