Don’t get me wrong, these bagels are good, especially for being in LA. My issue is that I was essentially charged double. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese (lox cream cheese on one half, jalapeño cream cheese on the other) and an iced latte. According to their prices, that should’ve cost me around $14 (I originally thought $12, but that’s because the person working the register didn’t mention that oat milk was $2 more, which I think is a bit ridiculous, but not my main issue here). My total was $22. I thought the price was high, but didn’t say anything. When I got home, I checked the prices online and then called to get a rundown of the prices of what I ordered. I was thinking maybe the person who rung me up made a mistake, especially because she kept mentioning her register was being weird. The woman on the phone explained the pricing and told me it was $3+ for each of the cream cheeses. I told her I didn’t get two portions, but rather half of each. She then very unkindly said “then I suggest you find a new bagel place”. What a disappointing experience from a place that actually has good bagels. Guess I’ll take her suggestion, and I suggest others do the same.

THE BEST COFFEE! Their house blend from New Guinea is so favorable, smooth and aromatic just by itself, you don't want to smother it with flavored creamers or sweeteners. And I LOVE their cheese bagels, so soft and tasty! They've really expanded their menu with all sorts of breakfast and lunch choices, salads, soups and pastries plus adding an outdoor dining area. One of those neighborhood gems that has so many new additions that I thought it was a brand new restaurant instead of the New York Bagel Cafe that's been around for nine years!I should mention that prices are fairly reasonable but my tabs add up because I take home extra dishes, buy house blend coffee beans or bagels (especially the yummy cheese bagels!) to go when I dine in.

Coffee is great. David, the owner is a real sweet guy. It's right down the corner from us. It might not be the quickest service, but sometimes we all don't need to be in a rush All the time. Everyone is super friendly. Never had an issue whatsoever. Definitely worth a visit.

The girl up front was nice, but overall a very sub par experience. Prices on the menu are less than what you are charged, very little value for what you pay for($16.20 for a small Turkey avocado bagel sandwich), and the owner was loudly talking on his phone in the dining room. I had to stop talking to my wife on my headphones when I entered, because she would hear his voice over mine from across the room.Overall: Don't botherThere are much better places around the area for a similar if not substantially cheaper price.

Sorry people but there's way too many fake 5 stars about this place. I'm really astonished as to how on earth this place is still open?? I just replied back to a 5 star reviewer and told him this: Sorry but after reading so many negative reviews about this dump and then Bam!! Suddenly the world's best review pops up by you!! Umm no but nice try. We all know this place is the worst, slow and overpriced but again nice try. People who in their right mind would come here to eat stale cheap bagels, terrible service by novice servers and overpriced menu??? Who??? I eat sushi next door frequently and never see this place busy never!! Not once!! Noah's bagel is just down the street which is ten times better and cheaper. Good luck to this owner.

OK bagels nothing special..Got the lox and cremchees..got to almost ..20$ 18$ +taxThey change price so when I got there it was 15.45$ but they raised prices.Yes is very very pricyIt should not cost that muchAt list give a salad with it so its worth the pay.But un believable also just bagel and cream its 10.50$Thats not ok. ( before price up)Personally ill get it somewhere else.The place is nice worker is niceBut I won't buy my sandwich there.

I drive by this place daily on the way to the gym, but this is the first time actually here. One of my social groups planned an event for here, so what a great way to try it. The center it is in has a bunch of eateries and other businesses but parking is a bit of a pain. While it may seem like there are lots of spaces, that is not correct. I got a rainbow bagel with lox cream cheese and it was tasty. It was very quiet which was nice. Will maybe back to try something else.
I used to go here often, but I will not be back. I ordered a classic kale juice and an everything bagel. The bagel was ok, a little stale and smaller than I remember but it was a bit later in the day. But I had to ask them to remake the smoothie because they forgot the apple. They simply re-blended by adding the apple, but it just screwed up the entire radio and make the whole thing soupy rather than something I could drink. Ended up with half a cup of fiber and no liquid. And of course the price is higher than pre-Covid, but the size and quality has gone down hill. I will. It be back even though my preference is to shop small business.

The bagel was alright but the experience was awful. The girl taking my order was so bad, she was rude and unhelpful. I barely leave reviews, when I do they are always positive. I can’t remember the last time a server treated me so poorly that I left a negative review.I honestly feel bad because the place seems like a nice mom and pop shop, but this worker treated me so poorly I have to leave this review for their sake. Make a change in attitude ma’am! I was just asking if soup can be a side ?.
