Went here last night for date night. We ordered quite a bit of plates to try out and it was a success! The restaurant is nice and open and they keep the windows on the patio and the front doors open which I loved. Service was quick and the ambiance was cozy but chic. They start you off with drinks if course and then a bread plate with the most amazing garlic butter, just the right amount of garlic you can still kiss your date after dinner :) For appetizers we ordered the half dozen oysters, the lobster tempura, and the tuna tartare. 10/10 recommend the oysters, the champagne mignonette and the lime made them absolutely perfect. 10/10 recommend the lobster tempura, this was packed with flavor, and great for splitting with two people (it comes in one long piece so not great to share with many people unless you buy multiple). When you break open the tempura all the steam comes out from the juicy lobster and it's so delicious you'll never want the flavor to end. 7/10 for the tuna tartare, the seaweed salad bottom completely ruins it. The seaweed bottom is too bold for the palate, I would ask them to sub the seaweed for chopped avocado.....but the tuna was super fresh and the wontons were crispy.....but the radishes on top tasty a little too fishy, this dish could use some tweaking, like maybe avocado, mango chutney, and then the tuna, topped with parsley. For dinner my husband had the rack of lamb with chive mashed potatoes and asparagus, he loved it, but also was way too full for dessert after. I had the crispy branzino, the skin was only half crispy, but the quality was delectable. For me the garlic lemon butter sauce was too much, their dish did not need the zucchini, or the tomatoes, and maybe half the portion of fingerling potatoes. The potatoes cold have been cooked slightly more, and they only give you a small slice of grilled lemon, I would have put 3-4 slices of lemon with fish, made it crispier, with less potatoes, and maybe a light lemon butter sauce no garlic. As someone who eats out a lot, I've developed quite the palate. 7/10 for the branzino. We did enjoy this place very much for date night, but next time we just do the oysters, the lobster tempura, the hearts of romaine salad and possibly try the salmon. Make sure to make a reservation as the place was packed!

All-around wonderful experience for our Valentine's dinner! The cocktails/food were outstanding. Highlights were the oyster mushroom/polenta starter and the branzino entree. But really, everything was spectacular. Thanks for a great night, Pearl District!

We LOVE Pearl District. We found this restaurant last year by complete accident. The food is wonderful and the staff is extremely nice, but perhaps most importantly, both of these things are always consistent. We often have the short rib appetizer as a main with a side of their garlic fries. I've also found them to be great with food allergy-related requests (I'm deathly allergic to dairy), making modifications where needed and paying special attention to my meals.

We came here on a Saturday night and had some appetizers and everything was amazing we had the short rib and we had to be salt and pepper shrimp and then we have the dessert that was like a candy bar chocolate ice cream. Set up side and they were very accommodating since we did not make a reservation and found us a seat outside on the balcony and it was beautiful setting and the music is a vibe

Such a lovely restaurant with a high quality, creative, mouthwatering menu and lovely wine list with pleasant and professional service. It ticks all the boxes for a nice meal out and is definitely one of the better restaurants in the San Fernando Valley.

I had been to Pearl District a few time before & always loved it. Not so much last Sat. evening. We were a group of 4. We ordered cocktails & asked for bread and were told we could only get bread once we placed our order. Huh?! The shrimp & short rib appetizers were as good as before. The Caesar salad was good but not outstanding. The French onion soup was watery & too salty to eat and was sent back. The filet mignon was good yet a bit overdone. The ‘special' rack of lamb was brought to our table bright red when we had ordered it medium. We sent it back and was brought back to us med. rare. We kept it yet found it quite flavorless & rather tough. We know times are tough with the food industry now with the supply chain. Yet, it's very disappointing to get this type of food at Pearl Districts prices.

The food was very, very good!! The service was great, our server was very attentive to us. The only reason for a 4 rating is the ambience; it was a bit sparse. Not as comfy and warm as anticipated.

Everything about the evening was exceptional. Bar and table service was outstanding. Appetizers and main course delicious. The mushroom app and Thursday night special rack of lamb were particularly extraordinary. I couldn't have anticipated a better dining experience. Thank you to all the staff on call that night.

First time here. Date night , the decor is a bit off, service is excellent. Super nice staff Tried the Bahmar drinks A+. Salt and pepper Shrimp. A The bread was freshly toasted and the garlic butter was excellent Impatiently waiting for my lamb bolognese... A+ The branzino is excellent. Please try this place. Love the good. Hate to see this place become a covid victim

My husband and I absolutely love this place. Has become one of our favorite places. We are always seated right away, greeted by friendly staff, and attended to right away. The drinks are so yummy and the cuisine is delicious. Highly recommend it to all my friends.

If you want a restaurant where the food is always delicious, wonderful service and great atmosphere, then Pearl District is the place. Every time we have dinner there, we have a great meal.

To start, I have come here over 10 times in total if that gives you any idea of whether I enjoy it. This place is just an all-around great restaurant. Apparently, they have a Westlake location that I have never been to but plan to someday just to see if they are equally as good. As far as parking, there is street parking on Ventura and down the street across from McDonalds, there is also parking in the back for the restaurant, but the last time we tried that we had to walk all the way round to the front so it would have just been better to park on the street. It took us a while to even figure out there was restaurant parking in the back but it's an option if you need it. Every dish myself, and every friend I've come with have had here was great, without exception. The appetizers are great, the main dishes are great, the salad is great, and even the bread that comes free to the table is great. My go-to's are the 6-hour braised beef pasta and the lamb bolognese. Both of which are pasta dishes. My girlfriend always gets the Scottish salmon or the branzino. They keep changing the recipe for the Scottish salmon, but each time it's been great. We also tried the lamb chop and citrus fried chicken but I would say we prefer the others. As far as appetizers, the shishito peppers are a must with the caveat that they may fill you up. Every single time we have come here, the service was great. Even better than what you might expect at the price point the restaurant targets. Overall the restaurant has a nice vibe with a cozy feel, slightly upscale fine dining. However, it's not so "upscale" that you can't just show up after work for a nice dinner. They are only open some days, and the days they are open, they are typically not open too late, so best call ahead to make sure they are open have seating.

Pearl district truly knows how to deliver. The ambiance is absolutely perfect and is amplified with their outstanding service and phenomenal food . I would definitely recommend people to book their reservations & have a wonderful experience as well
