The ambient here is amazing and the server Elaine was too! I ended up getting the spicy tonkotsu ramen, the flavor it had...amazing!!! Will come back for more for sure :)

I came here last Friday after my stepdaughter's dance performance. She was starving after a long grueling day of performing at her performing arts school. So we landed here at Tamashii Ramen House. This location in North Hollywood was the perfect medium from DTLA on the way to the valley. The street that it's on is very popping on weekend nights. We were happy to see that we got there just early enough to get a seat for a party of 3 without having to wait. The food was solid and the service was sincere. My favorite was the Spicy Miso Ramen Soup. This is a solid place that is reliable with good food.

Food was bland. Lack of flavor and food tasted rubbery and like it was a product being sold and not something meant to nourish you. Broth was not good. Waste of money. We wished we went to Silverlake Ramen instead. Would not go back again.

I was disappointed about the food. The pork cutlets were sort of burned outside and the Tonkatsu sauce l can make better.... and the rest of the food l could have bought the ingredients and made myself since l know how to cook well. It was my first time and l won't be returning nor will bring family or friends as l always do anytime l find a good place to eat because l like promoting restaurants around here. I was looking forward to eating here but no l don't recommend it.I try always being positive about my experiences but l won't lie. It was not good food. ?

I've been to Tamashii Ramen House in North Hollywood several times, and it offers a good product, so it was time to try the Sherman Oaks location. Everything was just fine. The Spicy Tuna Cut Roll was good, but it was a little loose and crumbled when trying to pick it up with chopsticks. The Spring Roll with Shrimp and Veg were not as full as I would have liked, but the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen was perfect for a rainy day - filling and flavorful. The service was friendly and helpful. There is something very comforting to me about a steaming Bowl of ramen and Tamashii does not disappoint. Definitely worth a visit.
