“We absolutely enjoyed our visit. We took our wine staff for market research! What a gem ! We had to buy a case, and the hospitality was wonderful! They gave us wine to try also. So glad we adopted this winery to be a Tin Roof wine cafe family! If you haven't been, it's an absolutely amazing experience! Go,go, check them out!“

“Visited this place yesterday while driving around the area and looking for wineries that were open during holiday Christmas week. Found this one and the place had some good wines. Good sparking wines as well and in a very quiet and nice atmosphere. The ambiance was nice and really quiet during the time we went so that was cool. The people were friendly and very welcoming and enjoyed this hospitality! Will definitely be back.“

Deaver Vineyards Wineries •
12455 Steiner Rd, Plymouth - 11.75 miles

“This was a cute vineyard my family and I visited yesterday. They have a complimentary flight which I tried which had a white, orange muscat, sangoivese, another red (I cannot remember), and port to finish it off. They all tried out the delicious selections of ports that deaver sold. We did our tastings inside the gift shop where they also sold cute napkins, spreads, and water bottles. The service was quick and I even got to try some extra tastings like the almond champagne in addition to my complimentary tastings. I will definitely come back to try the port tastings next time since everyone in my family seemed to enjoy them all!“

Rombauer Vineyards Sierra Foothills Winery • $$

“I enjoyed our visit to the Rombauer Vineyards in the Sierra Foothills on this rainy day today. We were impressed by the whole experience. The grounds are beautiful, including vineyards rolling across gentle slopes with mountains framing the backdrop, with trees, flowers, and both covered and uncovered seating and tables surrounding the tasting room, creating an ambiance of rustic elegance and a place to shelter from the rain.We were warmly welcomed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who were happy to answer our questions and suggest tasting of the varieties of wine they produce. As we tasted the selection, I found the wine to be excellent across the board.By the end of our visit to Rombauer Vineyards, I felt not only that I had tasted some truly great wine in a gorgeous setting, but also that I had received genuine hospitality from a staff that cares deeply about the wine they make. I very much look forward to returning to these beautiful grounds to further explore their offerings! From the scenery to the wine itself and especially the friendly faces, Rombauer gives you an outstanding winery experience!“

“Thank you to Steve and our hostess for being so welcoming and kind to us on our first visit as new members to the Bella Grace 2/25th event. The lunch was fantastic and the atmosphere was so relaxing and beautiful. We got to see the wine cave which was very cool visually and the temperature was perfect. All of the staff inside were really helpful and could tell we were looking around in joy and asked us if it was our first time there. They immediately gave us a big welcome, guided us to the tent to check in. We brought our special needs son who is 22 but needs a lot of care and EVERYONE was so kind in making our visit wonderful and relaxing for us. I picked up our wine, bought a little extra and a bottle of the Tuscan oil can’t wait to make some bread for dipping. Thank you again for a really nice first event for us and we look forward to many more. Cheers!“

Dry Diggings Distillery Distilleries • $$
5050 Robert J Mathews Pkwy, El Dorado Hills - 7.39 miles

“You have to try their selectionof spiritsl! This was a last-minute trip and our first time visiting. This place is tucked away in the back of business office area, but don't let the outside fool you. When you pull up the place looks like a regular office building, but look for the sign that will lead you to the tasting area. As you walk through the plain wall hallway, you start to notice lights and a western setting area. Then you're pulled into a speak easy type of setting. Love the design! The staff is wonderful, with warm greetings, then presents you with their menu of flight choices (great price, btw). The host your preference, then recommend several tasting choices (if you're unsure), we chose the Cowboy (all whiskey/bourbons). As our host poured, she explained the history, flavors, and how the drink/bottle was made. Ever pour was excellent! My boyfriend loved the rye 18yr, and I loved the Bodini. Bottle prices are reasonable, and we're definitely coming back to buy more! Thank you for the wonderful experience!“
