“We’re two Brits who have spent a few nights in San Pedro. We’ve tried some other restaurants but have been to this one twice because it’s absolutely brilliant. From service to food. From great chianti to ambience. Loved the lasagne and tiramisu. Made very welcome by all the employees. If you are going to try one restaurant here go here.“

“The staff here make you feel incredibly welcomed and are all extremely kind and helpful. A lovely woman helped me over the phone and didn't get frustrated with me over deciding what toppings I wanted. And once we arrived there , it felt like I had just walked into someone's home. It's a nice warm feeling type of restaurant that makes you feel like you're at home with family. The Large pizza we ordered is In my opinion, my favorite pizza yet. The ingredients taste fresh and light. I usually get super bloated after eating pizza but not this time. It was just incredibly delicious and I would totally come back here anytime.“

“We found Angelo's on our way to the Long Beach airport before returning to Fort Worth and had the good fortunate of meeting Angelo himself. This place is like being in Italy and I can say that because we have a second home there! We grabbed a couple of sandwiches to go which were outstanding. The products in his store are all what you would find in Italy and if I lived anywhere close, I would be a regular shopper here. Angelo, grazie mille per la meravigliosa ospitalità! Ci vediamo la prossima volta che saremo a California (the homemade cookies were awesome)!“

“In the summer of 1975, I was only 14, and already a "Busboy extraordinaire"! My family had just moved from East Los Angeles to Monterey Park, and I started working at the best Italian restaurant on the planet, 'Agostino's'. At first, I thought all the beautiful girls were coming in to see me clear dirty dishes off of dirty tables. I later learned it had something to do with the food. And something to do with the restaurants' proximity to Mark Keppel High School. On top of all that. it was Great pizza at an affordable price. I stayed there charming the clientele for about three years. I met members of the M.P. Police, council members, Mayors, and others. I saw my classmates come in with their families, on dates, and in the banquet room after every major school dance. It was a place where you could go have pizza with friends, and not be embarrassed to run into your parents having a nice dinner. It was the hub of all social life in the San Gabriel Valley. I left the restaurant for college in 1978. In 1980, Agostino ("Gus") and Alicia sold the restaurant and went back to Sicily. I hadn't seen them in almost 50 years. A half century! Well, my fellow Monterey Parklandians (is that even a word?), this past weekend my wife says to me: "Remember your wish to step into 1975 and smell the food at Agostino's again"? She then drove me to this small Italian restaurant in the community of Paramount. Inside ..... were Gus & Alicia. The original owners who gave me my first real job so many years ago. The food was as good OR better than I remembered. Just as fresh too. My wife and I split an antipasto salad, a lasagna, and a pizza. Alicia came over to sit with us, we traded hugs & stories. Alicia is as warm and delightful as I remembered her. We didn't spend too much time with Gus, he was busy. Although I believe Gus is still jealous, because Alicia thinks I'm too handsome. It's a mystery. If you lived in the MP/Alhambra area for any amount of time, you surely enjoyed the authentic Sicilian food from Agostino's. And you'll truly enjoy Gus & Alicia's "Cafe Corleone". I know we'll be going back. CAFE CORLEONE 15337 Paramount Blvd, Paramount, CA (562) 408-6100. Dine-in/Takeout / Delivery“

“This restaurant is in my top 10 favorites with THE REEF and others. This restaurant definitely a five star restaurant, not 4.5. I drove 65 miles/1hr 10 minutes to come here because I heard great things about this restaurant, and what I heard was the truth. We came today on Easter. YELPERS, please reserve weeks ahead. Now the live band was awesome. The food was delicious. I had a great time. They have the main parking, Valet parking was $10 during my visit, they told me they also have extended parking across the street. When I entered, I was greeted at the door by staff. Delaney and the customer service staff were polite, friendly with all smiles. That's what customers love, with excellent customer service. So Delaney got us a table about 10 minutes wait, which was quick. And we got lucky because 4 others reserved, and me and 3 others waited 10 minutes, we got lucky. Customer service gets an A++. Our server was Danielle, she gets an A++. She took us to our table, 4 us if we're late from the other 4. Danielle took our orders, came back 5 times to make sure we were good. She refilled our glasses, and other servers did the same to make sure. I call it TEAM WORK. Now I went back n forth from the band, to the restroom, to my family's other table because we got there late, so I wasn't able to sit in their area. This place was crowded and every server that was moving trays were polite stopped and said "You're first" I've been to other restaurants where servers cut in front of customers. Not Spaghettini, everyone had a smile. This was my first time and I'll drive 65 miles again. By The Way, I used to work in food & beverages, used to work as a waiter at San Manuel Casino. So I know great customer service when I see it. Thank you Delaney and the front counter representatives. Thank you Danielle, Delaney and Thank you Spaghettini. This restaurant gets 5 stars.Parking: Free parking, valet parking and free parking across the street from the restaurant.“

“I woke up craving Spaghetti and Meatballs..and found this place.. Ordered a full pastrami sandwich and spaghetti and meatballs..Upon arrival, i realized that I have been in this place before, about 25 years ago or so.The spaghetti and meatballs was phenomenal, with 3 meatballs, and sauce to spaghetti ratio on point.Pastrami sandwich had the perfect moisture and flavor, just the right amount of mustard, would have like a bit more pickles but still a great sandwich.I hate that I didn't get the names of those who attended to me, but 100% great customer service.Safe to say. This is going to be a must go to for me at least once a month..“

“I am a lover of Italian food! Overall the place was good. Everything seemed fresh and had good flavor. We ordered the burrata appetizer, which was decent. I appreciated that they had 2 types of gluten free pasta. They made the other pastas in house. Worth a try if you are craving Italian food and are in the area.“

“Super friendly service! After 20 years since my first time, they STILL have $1 salad. Nothing has changed. I love that about this place. It's like a little family. It's very hard for me to pick pasta since i am not familiar with the names, but every time i pick something (always different), it comes out good. Would always come back to this. “I just want to say, who charges for convenience fee o_0 I was shocked to see this.To be honest I felt rushed to eat my salad. I was asked about twice if I was done. I mean if you see me eating I guess I'm not done. So I just dumped the salad bowl into my plate so she can remove the bowl ? ? ?Love this place but please don't rush me when I'm eating. I'm not on my 30 minute lunch break. The host (gentleman) was great very attentive. We spilled water and my boyfriend tried to clean the table and seat. However we missed the ice on the floor but the gentleman was so nice about it. ?I watched how rapidly he worked the floor, amazing ? from seating guests to cleaning tables and even offered to box my leftovers ?Parking: Limited parking spots.“

“Opted for italian and glad we did. Michaels never dissapoints. Excellent customer service, fabulous delicious cuisine, excellent wine and bubbly selection and dessert to die for. Heated patio which made for a comfty dining experience. I had the Linguini with Salmon off the limited menu and let me tell you, absolutely spectacular dish. Try it while is available. Paired that with some prosseco and yummy! Started with roasted veggies, highly highly reccommend, utter yummyness roasted to perfection. Crunchy, fresh and flavorful. Paired that with Calamari delight! Capped it off with an on the house Tiramissu (not sure if i spelled it right) in a glass. IF YOU DONT HAVE DESSERT, you must make an exception for this, my eyes literally rolled to the back of my head on the first taste! "I'll have what shes having" type of reaction! A must try. We paired that with vanilla bean ice cream, delicious. Top that off with excellent top of the line customer service. 5 stars!“

“My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday and he chose it because we were going to the Opera after to see La Traviata, so he wanted to make a theme night. The restaurant is small and quaint. They had live music. The decor is very simple, a bit rustic? But had some very pretty chandeliers. You must have reservations and must arrive on time. Our server was very polite and was quick at answering questions and making suggestions. I ordered the Chicken Milanese, and my husband had the Lasagna. Both were very delicious. We did not have any wine although it looked like they had a good selection and we opted for no dessert (good selection as well), as our meals were pretty good size. We both liked it and would go back. This restaurant has been open for 25 yrs.Parking: There is a public parking structure but it was a block away. Street parking is metered“

“AWESOME PIZZA!!!I'm blown away by the quality of your pizza. I ordered the Medium Veggie and boy was I blown away by the quality of the pizza. To start with the dough is hand spun, making it nice and fluffy but not doughy like many others. Crust and undercarriage was crispy not greasy and cooked perfectly. The sauce was perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Plenty of vegetables and perfectly balanced cheese. If you are looking for a great pizza this is definitely the place. I am a tough person to satisfy when it comes to pizza but this place gets two thumbs up! I'll definitely be back. Also the service is friendly. This place is a hidden gem, so many small pizza places are dissappearing because people settle for cheap, disgusting pizza. I am happy to discover this place! Keep up the great job! Good luck!“

“Idk how long this location has been opened, but I just found out, while searching for uni pasta closer to me, that my favorite uni pasta has a 2nd location!!! ? Now I don't gotta drive all the way to Little Tokyo for it. This location is only about 20min (with no traffic ?) from me in the OC!!! Their uni pasta is the best & so is this other dish that my hubby ordered (forgot the name, but it's a bolognese beef stew kind of sauce...it was one of their special item). Also tried a couple of the other appetizers. Pretty good too. Fyi, we've only been their LT location so far. Can't wait to try this one out soon!“

“I am not a food truck fan in general. Maybe two or three times a year I go to one, but it was raining and cold and there was one at the front door so tonight was Food Truck Night, and an overcooked, overpriced burger with too many fries would be just fine.SO WHAT A THRILL TO DISCOVER ITALIA ON THE ROAD instead. The tastiest lasagna I have ever had, with a fresh salad I was too full to eat.The bread and chocolate chip canolis, which I did have time for, were good enough to write about. So I am. Wonderful dinner.Equally important if not more so, ANGELO and SOLENT, the Truck's partners in life and lasagna, were so kind and warm and genuine that my dinner experience soared to really special heightsThey are cover-model captivating, both of them; without a touch of conceit. The food tonight was exceptional, and my experience unparalleled , .in that great way when life occasionally makes the ordinary extraordinaryPeople worth knowing, food worth tasting, and a small business worth supporting. “Good pizza! I like the cheese and the crust. Solid on the toppings too. I used to love getting their oven baked wings because they are good, but since they increased the price, the value doesn't match the extra cost. Service is hit or miss. “First time visiting Rocco's Italian Ristorante. Went with a group of 9 for lunch. Such a nice atmosphere....Super clean, white tablecloths, a couple of big screen TV's (sound off, thankfully) and a very friendly staff. We asked for separate checks and they obliged....No problem. Big menu with a large variety of sandwiches...Hot and Cold. We all got sandwiches. Looked like most ordered the Philly Cheese Steaks.....Brimming with meat. I got The Central Park sandwich which was fresh mozzarella, arugula, tomatoes and basil pesto. Got mine with melted mozzarella on toasted bread.....Delish!! Had a sampler platter of their Italian sausage with onion and bell pepper sent to the table to taste..... Yummy. As it was one friends Bday, they offered us a sample plate of their deserts. Took a vote after lunch & all agreed we need to go back soon. Looking forward to returning to have one of their pasta dishes next time.“

“This is my 2nd review on Big E Pizza. They are lovely people! Every delivery is spot on, the food is always piping hot when it arrives at your door and the most important thing is, they truly care about what they are doing. It is obvious that they care about their customers. The food is good, and I want to thank all of the staff at Big E's for making things so special. Every single time. I always order the Greek salad and they do not hold back on their generous portion. If you are hungry, your leftovers should last a while. Just a great neighborhood place with a terrific staff.“
