TLDR: the owner didn’t honor a coupon that was clearly valid.I came in with a free sandwich coupon that was admittedly a few years old (it floated around the bottom of the “random drawer”). This location was listed and there was no expiration date or any other limitations. I ordered my sandwich and presented the coupon, to which the employee said he needed to call the owner to see if they’d accept it. This led to a 10 minute delay where the employee then asked for a photo of the coupon to send to the owner. The end result was the owner denying the coupon because it was “too old”. I understand it may have been old, but ultimately the best business practice would to be honor it and earn a return customer. I love Togo’s food, but the owner of this location is not looking for return business. Disappointing.

TOGO's (online) offered a $5 cash reward for every $25.00 gift card purchased. On 12-15-23 I purchased the $25 gift card, and the clerk told me the $5 cash reward would be applied to future purchases. On 1-11-24 I again visited Togo's Signal Hill and asked to use the $5 cash reward to partially pay for a sandwich. However, a different clerk told me the $5 cash reward HAD to be used at the time of the original Gift Card purchase....... Wait - The 1st Clerk told me I had to use the $5 reward later. Then, later, a different Clerk told me the $5 cash reward was only redeemable at time of purchase. I detest liars. This location is filled with liars, scum, and cheats. WATCH your wallet when you buy here. These folks are slicker than greased lightening. There are other Togo Locations - hopefully they are more honest and actually honor their advertised 'specials'.

Normally the service is excellent today not sure what happened. I bought 1 turkey avocado sandwich regular size. I also order a pastrami with pepper chinis large to be cut in half with and wrapped in half because I was going to give it to someone else, and a Chinese chicken salad with no onion or cilantro. What I got turkey avocado with peperchinis. A large sandwich paste I with NO peperchinis, and it was not wrapped separate. The Chinese chicken salad had onion and cilantro. I caught that so they fixed it before I left but I should have checked everything before leaving.
